IWA Mid-South News for 06.05.05

IWA Mid-South Wrestling debuted at the National Guard Armory in Plymouth, IN
on Saturday night, 6/4 with "Whatever It Takes." Here's what went down...

1. "The Human Rulebook" CHANDLER McCLURE def. MIKE WALLACE in the opening
contest with the Touchdown. After the match JIM FANNIN and EDDIE KINGSTON
attacked McCLURE until ARIK CANNON hit the ring to run Kingston off.

2. "Anarchist" ARIK CANNON def. "King of Diamonds" EDDIE KINGSTON after the
Glimmering Warlock.

3. TRIK DAVIS & BRAD BRADLEY def. "The Iron Saints" VITO & SAL THOMASELLI to
retain the IWA World Tag Team Titles.

4. DELIRIOUS def. BRANDON THOMASELLI to retain the IWA Light Heavyweight
Title with a sunset flip during a fast exchange of nearfalls.

5. MATT SYDAL def. JOSH ABERCROMBIE to retain the NWA Midwest X Division
Title following the Here It Is Driver.

6. In a match to determine who would gain the advantage in the IWA World
Title Gauntlet Series on 6/11 in Philadelphia (by being the final wrestler to
enter the match), CHRIS HERO wrestled DANNY DANIELS to a no-contest, when ARIK
CANNON got involved. All three men brawled around the building, resulting in the
locker room emptying to try to pull them apart from one another. IAN ROTTEN
announced that because they couldn't decide who would be the final entrant in
the Gauntlet Series, the match would be changed so that IWA World Champion JIMMY
JACOBS will get the advantage as champion by being the final entrant, and
will only have to defend the title against the wrestler standing after the three
challengers battle in the first series of pairings.

7. "Outlaw" BILLY GUNN def. "Double C" CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI in the main event
of the evening, following the Fame-asser.

The event was filmed by Smart Mark Video for home video release, with
commentary by Dave Prazak, Chris Hero, Trik Davis, Eddie Kingston, and Mickie
Knuckles... Arik Cannon sustained an injury to his collarbone region during his
match
with Kingston, but should be good to go for 6/11 in Philadelphia... IWA-MS
will return to the Plymouth Armory during the month of July on a date to be
announced during the next few weeks.

IWA-MS returns to action on Saturday afternoon, 6/11, for a 2pm event at the
New Alhambra Sports Center (formerly the ECW Arena/Viking Hall) in
Philadelphia, PA. The event is part of a double header that day at the venue,
with a
Combat Zone Wrestling show later that evening. Tickets will be available at the
door.

As a result of the brawl between Danny Daniels, Chris Hero, and Arik Cannon
in Plymouth, the IWA World Title Match on the 6/11 card will now be Jacobs
defending the title against the survivor of a gauntlet featuring the three
challengers.

Also, the Women's Title Match on the event, featuring Mickie Knuckles taking
on MsChif, will now become a three-way contest with the addition of east coast
standout Allison Danger. Danger has been a prominent member of the IWA-MS
Women's Division during the past year, but has yet to receive a title shot after
participating in the "Volcano Girls" tournament last May. IWA-MS management
has elected to grant her request of a chance at the championship on her "home
turf" of Philadelphia on 6/11, but she has a very determined champion in MsChif
and a very focused challenger in Knuckles standing in her way.

[Champion] JIMMY JACOBS to defend against the winner of a Gauntlet featuring
CHRIS HERO & DANNY DANIELS & "Anarchist" ARIK CANNON

***IWA Light Heavyweight Title Match***
[Champion] DELIRIOUS vs. JOSH ABERCROMBIE

***IWA Women's Title/Three-Way Match***
[Champion] MsCHIF vs. MICKIE KNUCKLES vs. ALLISON DANGER

***IWA World Tag Team Title/Tables Elimination Match***
[Champions] TRIK DAVIS & RYAN BOZ to defend against four other teams. Two
teams will start, and a new team will enter the match every two minutes. When
one
wrestler is put through a table, his team is eliminated from the match. The
challenging teams are:

We return to the Midlothian, IL Park District Rec Center on Friday, 6/17.
Featured matches include IAN ROTTEN vs. SAMOA JOE in a Falls Count Anywhere
Match, as well as CM PUNK vs. the debuting D-LO BROWN. The next night, Saturday,
6/18, we're at the Armory in Hammond, IN. D-LO BROWN vs. SABU is on the card in
Hammond.

The following weekend, we're in Salem, IN at the Armory on Friday, 6/24, and
Vincennes, IN at the Armory on Saturday, 6/25.

"No Blood, No Guts, No Glory 2005" featuring the double ring, double cage,
three team War Games will be 7/2 in Valparaiso, IN at the Armory.
