IWA Mid-South News for 05.19.05

We held a special Wednesday night IWA Mid-South Yahoo Group Chat to make
several announcements concerning the next few events. Here's a recap of what was
covered...

For those in the Vincennes, IN region, IAN ROTTEN and JAMES GIBSON will be
appearing this Thursday morning (5/19) on 100.5 FM WSJD (based in Mt. Carmel,
IL) to plug this weekend's events. Tune in from 8am to 8:20am Central time to
hear their appearance.

This Friday night, 5/20, we're back at the National Guard Armory (1100 N.
Shelby Street) in Salem, IN. Bell time is 7:30pm. Tickets are $20, $15, $10 and
will be available at the door. Directions are available on the IWA-MS web site.

This Saturday night, 5/21, we're back at the National Guard Armory (1514
Emison Street) in Vincennes, IN. Bell time is 7:30pm. Tickets are $20, $15, $10
and will be available at the door. Directions are available on the IWA-MS web
site. On the card:

(if they both retain their respective titles on Friday night, it will be
Title Versus Title)

[IWA World Champion] JIMMY JACOBS vs. [NWA Indiana State Champion] BRANDON

Plus we will have an over the top rope battle royal, with the order of
elimination determining the undercard matches for the evening.

Smart Mark Video will be filming both the Salem and Vincennes events with two
cameras for VHS and DVD release. Additionally, the DVD remaster of the 1997
King of the Death Matches tournament is in the final stages of production, and
should be released during the next couple of weeks. The DVD features a 2005
commentary track which includes Dave Prazak, Chris Hero, Trik Davis, Mickie
Knuckles, Bryce Remsburg, and Allison Danger.

IWA-MS returns to the National Guard Armory in Valparaiso, IN on Friday
night, 5/27. Matches for the show will be annonced during the coming week.

We are also waiting to hear back from one last ditch possible venue to hold
"No Blood, No Guts, No Glory 2005" (featuring the double ring, double cage War
Games match) on the original date of Saturday, 5/28. We will know on Friday
whether or not the show can take place at the venue. An announcement will be
made at the show on Friday evening concerning 5/28. If we are unable to hold the
show then, the event will be rescheduled for an upcoming Saturday evening, and
will take place in the northwest Indiana/Chicago region.

IWA-MS co-promotes an event with NWA No Limits Wrestling on Friday night, 6/3
at the National Guard Armory in Muscatine, IA. Visit www.nlwrestling.com for
more details on the show.

We're back at the National Guard Armory in Rensselaer, IN on Saturday night,
6/4. "Outlaw" Billy Gunn will be among those appearing on the event.

We will present an afternoon card, beginning at 2pm, at the old ECW Arena at
the corner of Swanson & Ritner Streets in Philadelphia, PA on Saturday, 6/11.
The event will take place before the CZW show at the same venue later that
night. Tickets will be available at the door the day of the show. Here's a look
at the card, should each champion still hold their respective titles come

IAN ROTTEN & AXL ROTTEN & BALLS MAHONEY vs. MAD MAN PONDO & JC BAILEY & "Mr.
Insanity" TOBY KLEIN

***IWA Light Heavyweight Title Match***
[Champion] DELIRIOUS vs. JOSH ABERCROMBIE

***NWA Midwest/IWA Mid-South Women's Title Match***
[Champion] MsCHIF vs. Winner of Knuckles/Haze on 5/20

***IWA World Tag Team Title/Five-Way Elimination Tables Match***
[Champions] RYAN BOZ & TRIK DAVIS to defend against four other teams. The
match will begin with two teams. Every two minutes another team will enter the
match. Once one member of a team is put through a table, the team is eliminated.
The team standing at the end will be the IWA World Tag Team Champions.
The challenging teams are:

We're back in Midlothian, IL at the Park District Rec Center on Friday night,
6/17. On the card...

Plus the IWA-MS debuts of D-LO BROWN and KEVIN STEEN, plus CM PUNK on the
card and more.

We return to the National Guard Armory in Hammond, IN on Saturday night, 6/18
for "A New Beginning." Plans are to hold many of our top level cards at the
Hammond Armory during the remainder of 2005, including "The 2005 Ted Petty
Invitational Tournament" on 9/23 & 9/24.

We will return to the Civic Center in Herrin, IL in the near future. We are
currently waiting to set a new date with building management for our next show.

DELIRIOUS NOT ON SMACKDOWN THIS WEEK

Though it has been widely reported during the past 24 hours on several news
sites that IWA Light Heavyweight Champion Delirious appeared at the WWE
Smackdown television tapings this week, that is not the case. Apparently
somebody
thought it would be amusing to send out false reports from the tapings.
Delirious
is, however, available for future bookings. Be sure to check out
www.deliriouswrestling.com for more on the masked phenom.



IWA-MS MATCHES AVAILABLE AT CLICKWRESTLE.COM

For those who may be unaware, IWA Mid-South has been in partnership with the
ClickWrestle.com service for the past several months to provide wrestling fans
with full matches for download online. Select matches are available for
download on a pay-per-minute basis, as well as a set price to download a full
match. We currently have 27 IWA-MS matches available for viewing on the site,
and
provide ClickWrestle.com with new footage (both recent and from the past) on a
regular basis.

The majority of ClickWrestle.com's customer base are fans of women's matches,
and as a result, the majority of our content on the site features the IWA-MS
women's division. We also provide them with occasional men's matches. We plan
to expand our working relationship with ClickWrestle.com during the coming
months.

Other promotions that feature content at ClickWrestle.com currently include
