- JACOBS TO DEFEND AGAINST HERO TONIGHT!!
- SIMPLY THE BEST 6 JUNIOR TOURNAMENT!!
- FULL MIDLOTHIAN RESULTS FROM FRIDAY NIGHT!!

IWA Mid-South Wrestling, in association with NWA Midwest, presented "Spring
Heat 2005" at the Park District Rec Center in Midlothian, IL on Friday night,
4/8. Here are quick results...

1. "Wonderkid" JONNY STORM def. TRIK DAVIS in the opening contest following a
half nelson pumphandle driver.

2. "Human Rulebook" CHANDLER McCLURE def. "The Tremendous" EMIL SITOCI after
the Touchdown.

3. "Sweet & Sour" LARRY SWEENEY def. "Classic" COLT CABANA with a rollup
while holding the tights. Before the match, Sweeney announced he is now under
the
management of JADE CHUNG.

4. EL GENERICO def. JIGSAW after a brainbuster.

5. DAIZEE HAZE def. MICKIE KNUCKLES (Finishers Match) to retain the NWA
Midwest/IWA Mid-South Women's Title after the Yakuza kick. Just before the
pinfall,
Mickie sustained an injury to her left arm, which leaves her questionable for
the next few weeks.

6. SAMOA JOE wrestled IAN ROTTEN to a double countout. After the match Rotten
agreed to a rematch the next time Joe is in IWA-MS.

7. BRAD BRADLEY & RYAN BOZ def. "Iron Saints" VITO & SAL THOMASELLI and ERIC
PRIEST & SILAS YOUNG to retain the IWA World Tag Team Titles after giving Sal
the swinging faceplant.

8. DELIRIOUS def. BRANDON THOMASELLI & JOSH ABERCROMBIE to retain the IWA
Light Heavyweight Title after hitting Shadows Over Hell on Thomaselli as he was
about to give Abercrombie the Air Raid Crash.

9. CHRIS HERO def. "King of Diamonds" EDDIE KINGSTON & CHRIS CANDIDO &
"Anarchist" ARIK CANNON & DANNY DANIELS & "Double C" CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI in a
Six-Way
contest after pinning Kingston following two Hero's Welcomes to earn the
title shot on Saturday in Highland.

10. JIMMY JACOBS def. CM PUNK to retain the IWA World Heavyweight Title. The
pinfall took place after referee BRYCE REMSBURG was down, and Jacobs hit a
back senton off the top rope with the title belt on his back, and a second
referee then counted the fall.

The event was filmed with two cameras by Smart Mark Video for home video
release, with commentary by Dave Prazak, CM Punk, Jim Fannin, and Trik Davis.

IWA-MS returns to action TONIGHT, Saturday, 4/9, at the Lincoln Center (2450
Lincoln Street) in Highland, IN. Bell time is 6pm. Tickets are $35, $30, $25,
and $15 general admission, and will be available at the door.
