APRIL BLOODSHOWERS THIS FRIDAY NIGHT!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

IWA Mid-South Wrestling, in association with NWA Midwest, presents a double
shot of events this weekend. Our annual "April Bloodshowers" event is tomorrow
night, Friday, 4/1, at the Civic Center in Herrin, IL, and our return to the
National Guard Armory in Salem, IN is this Saturday night, 4/2.

Let's take a look at some of what's on tap for this weekend.

* Former WWE star and current TNA competitor "Outlaw" Billy Gunn will be
making his initial appearances for IWA-MS at this weekend's events. On Friday
night, Gunn takes on "The Wild Eyed Southern Boy" Tracy Smothers, while on
Saturday he will face "The Underwear Model" Eric Priest.

* The Bloodshowers card, which is our debut event at the Herrin Civic Center,
features a Barbed Wire Ropes/Tables bout between 2003 KOTDM finalist JC
Bailey and longtime IWA-MS hardcore competitor 2 Tuff Tony. Additionally, for
the
first time in company history, we will have a Women's First Blood Match on the
Herrin card, as the war continues between Mickie Knuckles and MsChif. The
first wrestler to make her opponent bleed will be declared the winner.

* Three IWA-MS titles will be defended each night. Danny Daniels will put the
IWA World Heavyweight Title on the line Friday night against Jimmy Jacobs,
and then on Saturday night against Tracy Smothers. Delirious is set to defend
his IWA Light Heavyweight Title on Friday against Josh Abercrombie, and then
against Vito Thomaselli on Saturday. Women's Champion Daizee Haze will put her
title on the line both nights against Rain.

* Matt Sydal and Brandon Thomaselli will have yet another match in their
series on Friday in Herrin. The two wrestled to a draw in their first meeting
back
in January in Muscatine, IA, followed by Thomaselli getting a victory over
Sydal in the first round of the Indiana State Title tournament in February. Matt
then came up victorious in a two out of three falls match during early March
in Muscatine. Their match at Bloodshowers will break the tie.

* "Anarchist" Arik Cannon is in search of his first IWA-MS victory since
returning from a broken collarbone. Friday night he will face Trik Davis, while
Saturday night features an intriguing match against 2 Tuff Tony. Davis has been
on the rise the past several months with key victories, both in singles
competition and as 1/3 of the IWA World Tag Team Champions with Brad Bradley &
Ryan
Boz. Tony's been working his way back up the IWA-MS ladder after an absence
himself. Will Cannon be able to shake off the ring rust and come up with a win
this weekend?

* "The All-Stars" of Chandler McClure & Bryce Benjamin requested a rematch
after the 3/5 Vincennes, IN event where they were defeated by the team of Ian
Rotten & Mickie Knuckles in an unscheduled match. They will get their rematch
this weekend, as we will see an Intergender Tag Team Rematch in Salem on
Saturday night.

* The one and only Sabu will be making appearances at both shows this
weekend, and will be available for photos and autographs.

* On Friday morning, IWA-MS wrestlers will make a television appearance on
local ABC affiliate WSIL-TV Channel 3 in Southern Illinois. The segment is
scheduled to be a part of Friday's edition of "News 3 This Morning," which airs
from 6am to 7am. Tentatively set to appear are IWA-MS boss Ian Rotten and
"Outlaw" Billy Gunn. If you're in the area, be sure to tune in and check it out!

IWA-MS presents "April Bloodshowers 2005" tomorrow night, Friday, 4/1, at the
Civic Center (101 S. 16th Street) in Herrin, IL. Bell time is 7:30pm. Doors
open at 6:30pm. Tickets are $25, $20, $15, and $10 general admission, and will
be available at the door.

IN this Saturday night, 4/2. Bell time is 8pm. Tickets are $20, $15, and $10
general admission, and will be available at the door.

Some additional notes on the upcoming IWA-MS events...

* Due to increased airfare prices, we're unable to bring in Chris Candido and
Ariel for this weekend's events. Both wrestlers will return to IWA-MS action
shortly when it is more financially feasible to fly them in.

* The second match has been made for the 6/11 Philadelphia, PA event at
Viking Hall. It will be IAN ROTTEN & AXL ROTTEN & BALLS MAHONEY vs. MAD MAN
PONDO &
JC BAILEY & 2 TUFF TONY! This match is added to the already announced SAMOA
JOE vs. NECRO BUTCHER bout.

* We debut in Midlothian, IL at the Park District Recreation Center (14500 S.
Kostner Avenue) on Friday night, 4/8 with "Spring Heat 2005." Already signed:
A rematch between DANNY DANIELS and CM PUNK... IAN ROTTEN to battle SAMOA
JOE... CHRIS HERO is set to face the returning SUPER DRAGON... "Classic" COLT
CABANA returns to IWA-MS against "Sweet & Sour" LARRY SWEENEY... two IWA-MS
newcomers will debut against one another as daredevil high flyer JACK EVANS will
face Canada's EL GENERICO... plus DELIRIOUS in action, the return of UK
sensation JONNY STORM, "Anarchist" ARIK CANNON, and more on the card.

* IWA-MS proudly presents "Simply The Best 6" on Saturday night, 4/9 at the
Lincoln Center (2450 Lincoln Street) in Highland, IN. Already signed: BRAD
BRADLEY to face SAMOA JOE... plus there will be an eight man junior heavyweight
tournament, featuring JACK EVANS, MATT SYDAL, JONNY STORM, EL GENERICO, M-DOGG
20, JAY FURY, JIGSAW, and SONJAY DUTT. The first round of the tournament will
feature four singles matches. The winners of those four bouts will then compete
later in the night in a four-way contest. Also on the card will be CHRIS
HERO, CM PUNK, DELIRIOUS, "Anarchist" ARIK CANNON, and many more IWA-MS stars.

* We present "No Blood, No Guts, No Glory 2005" on Saturday night, 5/28 at
the Lincoln Center in Highland, IN. The event will feature a double ring, double
cage, War Games style matchup between three teams. Only 200 tickets will be
on sale for this event, as space will be limited due to the double ring setup.
All tickets for the event are $20. Over half of the tickets have already been
sold. If you want to see this event live and in person, make sure you get your
tickets in advance! They will be on sale while they last at all live IWA-MS
events.

* Look for the remastered edition of the 1997 King of the Death Matches
tournament to be released on DVD by Smart Mark Video in the near future. The
project is nearing completion, as we're recording a 2005 commentary track on the
footage this weekend.

* For those in the Chicago area who didn't hear it, newly appointed IWA-MS
referee Andy Long appeared on the B96 (96.3FM) morning show on Wednesday and
plugged our upcoming "Spring Heat 2005" event for Midlothian on 4/8.
