LINEUPS FOR THIS WEEKEND'S DOUBLE SHOT!

IWA Mid-South Wrestling, in association with NWA Midwest, returns to action
with a double shot of live events this weekend!

This Friday night, 2/11, IWA-MS returns to the National Guard Armory (1514
Emison Street) in Vincennes, IN. Bell time is 7:30pm. Tickets are $20, $15, and
just $10 general admission, and will be available at the door.

Tickets will go on sale this Saturday in Highland for 4/9's "Simply The Best
6" event at the Lincoln Center, featuring among those already signed CM Punk,
Samoa Joe, Jonny Storm, and M-Dogg 20. We will be announcing a third
competitor for the Junior Heavyweight Tournament which will be featured on that
card
during this Saturday's Highland event.

We will present the third installment of what has become an IWA-MS Women's
Division trademark, a Six-Way Elimination Match, this Saturday night, 2/12, just
outside of Chicago. The show will take place at the Lincoln Center (2450
Lincoln Street) in Highland, IN, just minutes out of the city. Bell time is 7pm.
Tickets will be available at the door, and general admission is only $10!

The first IWA-MS Women's Six-Way Elimination bout took place on 3/5/04. The
match consisted of Lacey vs. Mickie Knuckles vs. ODB vs. MsChif vs. Daizee Haze
vs. Rain. It came down to the Minnesota tag team duo of Rain and Lacey
battling one another during the closing moments, which saw Lacey hit the Implant
DDT
for the final pinfall to win the contest. The match received a standing
ovation from the fans in attendance at the Lincoln Center that night, and is
what
many consider to be the match that put the IWA-MS Women's Division on the map.

A second Women's Six-Way Elimination contest took place on the second night
of the 2004 Ted Petty Invitational tournament weekend, 9/18/04, again in
Highland. This time the match pitted Daizee Haze vs. Lacey vs. Mickie Knuckles
vs.
Mercedes Martinez vs. Rain vs. MsChif. The match whittled down to Martinez and
MsChif at the end. MsChif was able to hit her trademark Desecrator on
then-champion Martinez to win the non-title matchup.

This Saturday's Six-Way Elimination attraction will feature a new twist, as
the NWA Midwest/IWA Mid-South Women's Title will be on the line in the match
for the first time, as the wrestler left standing at the end of the bout will
walk away from Highland wearing the title belt. Mercedes Martinez lost the
championship on 1/15/05 in Framingham, MA to east coast based competitor Ariel
as
part of a three-way title bout on a show for New England Championship
Wrestling. Ariel will, as a result, make her IWA-MS debut appearance on 2/12 as
defending champion! She faces a true test as she will have to withstand five of
the
best female wrestlers in North America today to hold on to her newly won
championship.

Also making their IWA-MS debuts this weekend are west coast standouts
Cheerleader Melissa and Sara Del Rey, both of whom will be a part of the Six-Way
bout
on 2/12 in Highland. Sara and Melissa will also appear in singles competition
on the 2/11 IWA-MS card in Vincennes, IN at the National Guard Armory, with
Del Rey facing Mickie Knuckles, and Melissa, holder of the APW Future Legend
Title, putting it on the line against Daizee Haze. Melissa is a veteran of
Arsion in Japan as well as the LLF promotion in Mexico. Del Rey is currently a
member of the Inoki Dojo (New Japan USA) in California, fine tuning her skills
with some of the best in the world, after having appeared for AtoZ in Japan as
well as AAA in Mexico. Chicago area fans get a rare opportunity to see these two
compete in person this weekend, as it will be the first time Melissa and Del
Rey will be wrestling on events in the midwest region of the United States.

Joining Ariel, Del Rey, and Melissa as part of the Six-Way in Highland this
Saturday night will be three of the top ranked IWA-MS Women's Division r
egulars, in Mickie Knuckles, Daizee Haze, and MsChif. All three of these women
competed in the tournament to crown the first NWA Midwest/IWA Mid-South Women's
Champion back on 5/30/04 in Hammond, IN, and each also competed in both of the
previous Highland Six-Ways.

A student of both Chris Hero and Ian Rotten, Mickie Knuckles began her career
in IWA-MS rings and is truly a homegrown talent who is hungry to represent
the promotion as Women's Champion. Daizee Haze, who appears for NWA Wildside as
well as Ring of Honor in addition to her IWA-MS commitments, has really come
into her own the past several months, putting on some of the best pure
technical women's wrestling matches in company history. MsChif, who pinned
former
champion Mercedes Martinez in the last Six-Way installment, is on a tear in
IWA-MS
ranks, racking up three consecutive victories against Mickie in recent weeks,
including a wild No DQ brawl this past Saturday night, 2/5, in Muscatine, IA.

Both the 2/11 and 2/12 events will be professionally filmed by Smart Mark
Video for home video release on VHS and DVD during the coming weeks. If you live
in the midwest region of the country, don't miss your chance to see the
midwest debuts of three of the top female wrestlers in competition today.
