RESPECT MATCH TONIGHT IN RENSSELAER!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

IWA Mid-South Wrestling, in association with NWA Midwest, returns to the
National Guard Armory (1117 E. Grace Street) in Rensselaer, IN tonight,
Saturday,
January 29th. Bell time is 7:30pm. Tickets are $20, $15, and just $10 general
admission, and will be available at the door. The Rensselaer Armory is located
roughly halfway between Highland and Lafayette, an easy trip down I-65.

The main event of this evening's card features a Respect Match between former
IWA Light Heavyweight Champion Jimmy Jacobs and up and coming star Brandon
Thomaselli. Jacobs came up the winner of their first match against one another
in Valparaiso at the end of the month of November, after 28 minutes of action.
They met in a two out of three falls rematch on the December event in
Rensselaer, with Thomaselli coming up the winner in an amazing two straight
falls. A
very frustrated Jacobs threw a fit after the match, confronting promoter Ian
Rotten about showing Brandon favoritism, and shouting some very harsh comments
in the direction of the newcomer. A third match in their series, where the
loser must tell the winner he respects him has been signed, and will take place
tonight in Rensselaer!

NOTES ON UPCOMING IWA-MS EVENTS

* Concerning the 2/4 Valparaiso, IN event, which will feature the NWA Indiana
State Title Tournament: SAMOA JOE is set to face BRAD BRADLEY in a
non-tournament bout on the card... ZACH GOWEN has pulled out of tournament
competition
as he has plans to attend a VANILLA ICE concert that evening. The cocky Gowen
will be replaced in the tournament by "Underwear Model" ERIC PRIEST against
TRIK DAVIS in the first round... The remainder of the first round tournament
matches feature PETEY WILLIAMS vs. ALEX SHELLEY, IAN ROTTEN vs. JOSH
ABERCROMBIE,
and MATT SYDAL vs. BRANDON THOMASELLI... The show will also feature a Steel
Cage Match with the IWA Light Heavyweight Title on the line between champion
DELIRIOUS and former champ JIMMY JACOBS.

* Concerning the 2/5 Muscatine, IA event, co-promoted by NWA No Limits
Wrestling: The show will feature IAN ROTTEN battling JOSH ABERCROMBIE in a
Barbed
Wire Match, TNA's monster ABYSS will be in action, and former ROH World Champion
SAMOA JOE will take on ERIC PRIEST... As well, NWA Iowa State Champion JIMMY
JACOBS has issued an open challenge... MICKIE KNUCKLES will square off with
MsCHIF in Women's Division action... plus BRANDON THOMASELLI, TRIK DAVIS,
CHANDLER McCLURE, and more... There will be a training seminar before the show
with

* Concerning the 2/11 Vincennes, IN event: IWA-MS management has made
arrangements with officials from the California-based All Pro Wrestling for
CHEERLEADER MELISSA to defend her APW Future Legend Title on the 2/11 event.
IWA-MS has
selected DAIZEE HAZE, based on her recent winning streak, to challenge
Melissa for the title... Also on the 2/11 card, MICKIE KNUCKLES will face SARA
DEL
REY (from the Inoki Dojo in L.A.) in a second Women's Division contest... Much
of the talent that will be appearing in Highland the next night will also be
on the event in Vincennes.

* Concerning the 2/12 Highland, IN event: Already set for the show will be
VITO & SAL THOMASELLI vs. BRANDON THOMASELLI & a partner of his choice... ALEX
SHELLEY will face the returning "Anarchist" ARIK CANNON, coming back from a
broken collarbone... there will be a Six-Man Tag Team Match stemming from the
cage match on 1/15, as it will be BRAD BRADLEY & RYAN BOZ & TRIK DAVIS vs. EDDIE
KINGSTON & "Metalhead" STEVE STONE & CHANDLER McCLURE... as well, the NWA
Midwest/IWA Mid-South Women's Title will be on the line in a Six-Way Elimination
Match as it will be new champ ARIEL vs. MsCHIF vs. CHEERLEADER MELISSA vs.
DAIZEE HAZE vs. SARA DEL REY vs. MICKIE KNUCKLES... Among the others in
competition on the 2/12 Highland card are CHRIS HERO, "The New Age Punisher"
B-BOY, MATT
SYDAL, JIMMY JACOBS, DELIRIOUS, the gigantic force of TANK & ICEBERG, the
IWA-MS return of "Kool" SETH DeLAY, and more names to be announced in the coming
weeks.

* Concerning the 4/9 Highland, IN "Simply The Best 6" card, which will
feature a one night junior heavyweight high flyers tournament: The first
wrestler to
be entered into the tournament has been confirmed, as international star
JONNY STORM will return to IWA-MS competition that weekend. Jonny will also
appear
on our debut event in Midlothian, IL on 4/8.

HIGHLAND GENERAL ADMISSION LOWERED TO $10
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

To clear up any confusion concerning Highland ticket prices, beginning with
the 2/12 event, general admission at the Lincoln Center is indeed being lowered
to $10. This will remain in effect for future Highland shows as well. The
only other change is front row being raised to $30 to offset the general
admission change. Front row tickets for 2/12 are almost gone. Tickets will
remain
available in $25, $20, and $15 seating areas as well, giving fans a wide variety
of ticket prices to choose from. We hope the $10 general admission will help
fans bring more of their friends to the events in Highland, to show them what
IWA Mid-South has to offer.
