HIGHLAND GENERAL ADMISSION LOWERED TO $10
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
To clear up any confusion concerning Highland ticket prices, beginning with
the 2/12 event, general admission at the Lincoln Center is indeed being lowered
to $10. This will remain in effect for future Highland shows as well. The
only other change is front row being raised to $30 to offset the general
admission change. Front row tickets for 2/12 are almost gone. Tickets will
remain
available in $25, $20, and $15 seating areas as well, giving fans a wide variety
of ticket prices to choose from. We hope the $10 general admission will help
fans bring more of their friends to the events in Highland, to show them what
IWA Mid-South has to offer.
RESULTS 01.15.05 HIGHLAND, IN @ LINCOLN CENTER
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

IWA Mid-South Wrestling, in association with NWA Midwest, returned to the
Lincoln Center in Highland, IN on Saturday night, January 15th. Here's what went
down...

1. "The Iron Saints" VITO & SAL THOMASELLI def. "Underwear Model" ERIC PRIEST
& SILAS YOUNG with a double team maneuver where Young was held in the
pendulum and hit with a double stop to the back of the head off the top rope.

"The King of Diamonds" EDDIE KINGSTON interrupted some announcements by DAVE
PRAZAK, and informed the fans that his partner BLACK JACK MARCIANO is on the
shelf with a leg injury for the next several months and would not be able to
defend the IWA World Tag Team Titles in the cage later in the night. Kingston
asked that he be permitted to substitute a third man into the championship team
to defend the titles. Prazak agreed to it, but only if BRAD BRADLEY & RYAN BOZ
had the option of substituting a third man into the match on their team if
they so choose (for instance, if they wanted to surprise Kingston's team by
making the match against Bradley and NEW JACK, they'd have the ability to throw
hi
m into the match as a substitute). Kingston then introduced his new manager
JIM FANNIN, who brought "Metalhead" STEVE STONE out with him and announced that
Stone would be Kingston's partner in the cage.

2. "The Human Rulebook" CHANDLER McCLURE def. DYSFUNCTION & BRAD MARTIN when
McClure hit the Touchdown on Dysfunction for the victory. McClure had JIM
FANNIN in his corner, as he attempts to prove himself to Fannin and earn a spot
in
the Family.

3. PETEY WILLIAMS def. CHAD COLLYER via submission with the Sharpshooter.
Williams attempted several times to hit the Canadian Destroyer, but was
unsuccessful. Collyer was able to lock in the Collyer Cloverleaf but couldn't
keep it
on Williams. Petey focused on Collyer's leg in the final moments of the match,
setting him up for the Sharpshooter.

4. GOLDEN VAMPIRE XIII def. "Sweet & Sour" LARRY SWEENEY in Sweeney's Open
Challenge match. Vampire accepted Sweeney's challenge and was unmasked roughly
five minutes into the bout as "Wild Eyed Southern Boy" TRACY SMOTHERS! The
Lincoln Center fans chanted "thirteen" in support of the Vampire, while a
portion
also got heavily behind Sweeney.

5. TRIK DAVIS def. CHRIS HERO with an inside cradle rolled out of a delayed
vertical suplex attempt by Hero. The two chain wrestled in the early going of
the match, until Hero grew frustrated that Davis was able to go hold for hold
with him. Hero soon began to throw some hard strikes. The determination of
Davis kept him going through the beating until he was able to roll Hero into an
inside cradle for the pinfall.

6. BRAD BRADLEY & RYAN BOZ & TRIK DAVIS def. "King of Diamonds" EDDIE
KINGSTON & "Metalhead" STEVE STONE in a Steel Cage Match to win the IWA World
Tag
Team Titles. Bradley and Boz made their way to the ring first, and Bradley was
immediately jumped by Kingston and Stone on the floor before entering the cage,
going to work on Bradley's arm. Once all four men were inside the cage,
Fannin's team focused on the arm of Bradley, repeatedly driving it into the
cage.
Both Kingston and Boz were busted open from shots into the steel. Jim Fannin at
ringside was able to undo the chain on the cage door to open it, and slammed
the door on Bradley's arm twice. Several referees and security guards checked
on Bradley's condition and rushed him out of the cage and back to the locker
room, as the cage door was closed once again, leaving Boz to go it alone against
Kingston and Stone. He did his best to fight off both men himself, but wound
up on the receiving end of the beating. TRIK DAVIS soon left the commentary
table and decided that if Bradley was out of the match due to injury, he would
substitute himself as Boz's partner, and climbed to the top of the cage, diving
on both Kingston and Stone. Trik fired up on both of his opponents before
hitting a double stomp off Boz's shoulders on Stone, setting up for Boz to score
the pinfall and win the titles. Bradley, with his shoulder and arm bandaged
up, made his way back to ringside, and celebrated in the cage with his partners
as Fannin, Kingston, and Stone threw a fit on the ringside floor.

7. MsCHIF def. MICKIE KNUCKLES in a Submission Match with a modified version
of the pendulum, with a chinlock applied rather than grabbing hold of the
arms. Mickie tried to get a submission several times with the Muta Lock, while
MsChif used a variety of holds all focusing on Mickie's back. Eventually her
back
took such a beating that she couldn't hold the bridge necessary to keep
MsChif in the Muta Lock. MsChif soon hit the Desecrator, before locking Mickie
in
the modified pendulum for the win.

8. BRANDON THOMASELLI def. JOSH ABERCROMBIE with an Air Raid Crash off the
second rope. This was a hard fought match by both men, which saw Brandon hit a
corkscrew plancha to the floor, as well as his 450 splash during the course of
the match. Abercrombie caught Thomaselli in the cobra clutch on several
occasions, wearing him down while also mixing in some of his own high flying
maneuvers. As Abercrombie was going up top to attempt the Phoenix Splash,
Thomaselli
stopped him on the turnbuckles and maneuvered him into position for the Air
Raid Crash and the victory. Brandon's brothers VITO & SAL THOMASELLI came out to
help him celebrate the victory, only to attack him, giving Brandon the double
team pendulum/double stomp to the head off the top rope. Vito grabbed the mic
and told Brandon that he made the wrong decision in choosing IWA Mid-South
over NWA Wildside, and challenged him to find a partner for 2/12 in Highland and
face them in a tag match. A groggy Brandon accepted the challenge.

9. JIMMY JACOBS def. "Double C" CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI with the Contra Code.
Jacobs gave Claudio a nasty looking rana off the ring apron to the floor,
driving
Castagnoli to the floor head-first. Claudio got Jacobs in Swiss Sleeper
Holding during the match, but was unable to put him away with the maneuver. He
also
delivered a devastating European uppercut after launching Jacobs into the air
and connecting with the uppercut on Jacobs' way down.

10. CHRIS CANDIDO def. DANNY DANIELS via disqualification to retain the NWA
Midwest Heavyweight Championship. Candido was accompanied to the ring by his
manager JIM FANNIN. Daniels and Candido went back and forth for the first ten
minutes of a mainly technical wrestling based match. During the closing moments,
"Metalhead" STEVE STONE made his way to ringside, attempting to assist
Candido in getting the victory, and taking turns with Fannin distracting referee
TOMMY THOMPSON while tossing Candido a chain as well as the title belt.
Ulimately
Daniels gained possession of the chain and swung at Candido, inadvertenly
striking Thompson and laying him out. Daniels was eventually able to hit the
piledriver on Candido, and made the cover as second referee BRYCE REMSBURG hit
the
ring to count the fall and raise Daniels' hand as new champion. Thomson made
his way back to his feet and reversed the decision, disqualifying Daniels for
hitting him with the chain.

11. CORPORAL ROBINSON & NEW JACK def. JC BAILEY & 2 TUFF TONY in an Anything
Goes impromptu tag team match after Jack came off the top rope with a chair on
Tony. The match was originally scheduled to be Robinson vs. New Jack, but
during Corp's pre-match mic work, Bailey and Tony hit the ring area and attacked
Robinson, double teaming him with a chair. New Jack's music then kicked in and
he came to Corp's aid. The four agreed to turn the bout into a Texas Tornado
style tag team match. Several weapons, including a chained sickle and staple
gun were used during the bout, which went all over the Lincoln Center and saw
all four men busted open. Robinson hit the Boot Camp on Bailey before Jack came
crashing down off the top with a chair to earn his team the victory.

NOTES: The event was filmed by Smart Mark Video for home video release, with
commentary by Dave Prazak, Danny Daniels, Chris Hero, Eddie Kingston, Trik
Davis, and Tracy Smothers... The live crowd was given updates about the IWA-MS
wrestlers competing elsewhere during the show. IAN ROTTEN won the SCCW death
match tournament out in California, while ARIEL won the NWA Midwest/IWA
Mid-South
Women's Title on a NECW show in Framingham, MA, defeating MERCEDES MARTINEZ
and HAYLEY SKYE in a three-way match. It was announced that IWA-MS management
will bring ARIEL out as soon as possible to defend her newly won title... It
was announced that SARA DEL RAY and "Cheerleader" MELISSA ANDERSON will make
their IWA-MS debuts on the 2/11 & 2/12 double shot weekend... This was the
largest live attendance at the Lincoln Center since the 2004 TPI tournament
weekend.
Thanks to all the fans who came out to see the event in person! We greatly
appreciate your support.
