--VINCENNES POSTPONED UNTIL 2/11 DUE TO FLOODS
--BACK IN HIGHLAND THIS SATURDAY NIGHT 1/15
--DAIZEE HAZE & MERCEDES MARTINEZ NOTES

We regret to inform the fans that the event scheduled for tonight, Friday,
January 14th, at the National Guard Armory in Vincennes, IN has been postponed.
The Vincennes Armory informed us at 4:30pm on Thursday afternoon (1/13) that
due to the flooding in the region, they require use of the armory for flood
relief. Should anyone like to confirm this fact with venue management, you may
give them a call at 812-882-7405. We have rescheduled the Vincennes date for
Friday, February 11th. We apologize to the fans in Vincennes for the
inconvenience, and look forward to coming back there on 2/11.

IWA Mid-South Wrestling is back in action TOMORROW NIGHT, Saturday, January
15th, at the Lincoln Center (2450 Lincoln Street) in Highland, IN, just minutes
outside of Chicago. Bell time is 7pm Central. Tickets are $25, $20, and just
$15 general admission, and will be available at the door.

The event will feature a Steel Cage Match showdown for the IWA World Tag Team
Titles as "The Wildcards" Eddie Kingston & Black Jack Marciano defend against
former champions Brad Bradley & Ryan Boz. These two teams squared off on
12/12 in Highland in a match which saw outside interference from BJ Whitmer on
behalf of the Wildcards. This time the cage will keep the battle strictly
between
the two teams.

Chris Candido returns to Highland as he puts his NWA Midwest Heavyweight
Title on the lne against former IWA World Champ Danny Daniels. These two met at
the Autumn Armageddon event during the month of October in Evansville, and
should be an exciting bout between two very well matched up athletes.

The reigning King of the Death Matches, Corporal Robinson, will be in action
against former ECW star, the always controversial New Jack. These two legends
of the hardcore style will meet in a match with no rules-- anything goes!

DAIZEE HAZE INTERVIEWED ON GERWICK REPORT

Thursday night, Steve Gerweck, webmaster of www.gerweck.net, welcomed IWA-MS
Women's Division star Daizee Haze to the Gerweck Report Hotline. In the
interview, Daizee talks about IWA-MS, TNA, ROH, as well as several of the female
stars she has worked with on the indie scene. The thirty minute interview can be
heard on options #1, #2, and #3 of the hotline. Call 212-502-6636 to listen.

MERCEDES MARTINEZ TO DEFEND TITLE THIS WEEKEND
------------------------------------------------------------

Current NWA Midwest/IWA Mid-South Women's Champion Mercedes Martinez was
originally scheduled to be a part of this weekend's double shot of events in
Vincennes and Highland. With the Vincennes event being postponed, the cost of
bringing Mercedes out here for a single event became a less feasible option. As
a
result of Martinez being relieved of her IWA-MS commitments this weekend, she
has been booked to appear this Saturday night on a card for New England
Championship Wrestling in Framingham, MA.

As you may recall when Lacey was forced to miss several scheduled title
defenses due to a knee injury this past summer, NWA Midwest and IWA Mid-South
management set a 90 day title defense rule for the Women's Title, in part due to
the fact that typically only one (or in a rare instance, two) women's bouts
appear on any given event, thus making it more difficult to determine title
contenders and set title defenses for the champion within a 30 day period.

Martinez last defended the NWA Midwest/IWA Mid-South Women's Title on 10/23
in Highland, and as a result, the 90 day limit for her next title defense is
imminent. Since Mercedes does not have the option of defending at IWA-MS this
weekend, we have cleared New England Championship Wrestling management to
sanction a title defense for Martinez on their event, against whomever they
determine to be a deserving contender on their roster.
