IWA Mid-South Wrestling, in association with NWA Midwest, debuted at the National Guard Armory in Rensselaer, IN on Thursday night, 11/4. Here's what went down...

1. JIMMY JACOBS def. CHANDLER McCLURE & JOSH ABERCROMBIE to retain the IWA Mid-South Light Heavyweight Title.

2. MICKIE KNUCKLES def. ANGEL WILLIAMS following the Facelift in the corner.

3. CHRIS SABIN def. BRANDON THOMASELLI with the Future Shock.

4. NIGEL McGUINNESS def. ALEX SHELLEY via submission to earn an IWA World Title shot on 11/20 in Highland, IN.

5. ZACH GOWEN def. TRIK DAVIS after a big boot with his prosthetic leg behind the referee's back.

6. BJ WHITMER def. DANNY DANIELS while holding the ropes for extra leverage.

7. PETEY WILLIAMS def. "Spyder" NATE WEBB following a low blow and the Canadian Destroyer front flip piledriver to retain the TNA X Division Title.

8. IAN ROTTEN def. "Metalhead" STEVE STONE in a Falls Count Anywhere match.

IWA Mid-South Wrestling, in co-promotion with NWA No Limits Wrestling and NWA Midwest, presented "Point of Impact" on Friday night, 11/5 at the National Guard Armory in Muscatine, Iowa. Here's what went down...

1. TRIK DAVIS def. JUSTIN KAGE.

2. CHANDLER McCLURE def. GAGE OCTANE & MR. ELITE when McClure pinned Octane with a roll up.

3. IAN ROTTEN def. JOSH ABERCROMBIE with a half nelson suplex off the top rope.

4. CHRIS SABIN def. BRANDON THOMASELLI after hitting Future Shock.

5. DAIZEE HAZE def. MICKIE KNUCKLES.

6. "Spyder" NATE WEBB def. ZACH GOWEN after a chairsault.

7. PETEY WILLIAMS def. DELIRIOUS following the Canadian Destroyer front flip piledriver, to retain the TNA X Division Title.

8. RYAN BOZ wrestled JIMMY JACOBS to a double countout; Boz retains the NWA Iowa State Title. The two brawled all over the building post-match, which led to the locker room pulling the two men apart. They will battle inside a steel cage on January 8th at the return show in Muscatine.

Matt Sydal was unavailable for the event as his flight out of Missouri for the TNA pay-per-view was early Saturday morning (they're bringing everyone in a day early)... JC Bailey couldn't make the show due to an illness in the family... Bryce Benjamin was also unable to compete, as he has joined Arik Cannon on the injured list.

NWA No Limits returns to action on 12/11 in Rock Island, IL at the Masonic Temple (420 18th Street).

IWA Mid-South Wrestling is back in action this coming Thursday, 11/11 at the National Guard Armory (2909 Grant Line Road) in New Albany, IN. Matches will be announced for the event in the coming days.

Also, take note of a schedule change for the upcoming IWA-MS event at the National Guard Armory (3380 S. Old State Road 37) in Bloomington, IN. The event was originally set to take place on Thursday, 11/18, but has now been moved to Friday, 11/19.

11/20 HIGHLAND WOMEN'S SHOW UPDATE

IWA Mid-South Wrestling will present an all women show on Saturday afternoon, November 20th at the Lincoln Center (2450 Lincoln Street) in Highland, IN. The venue is located just minutes outside of Chicago. Bell time for the women's show is 4pm. There will also be a men's show during the evening at the same location. Tickets to the women's show are just $10 if you attend both shows, or $15 if you only attend the women's show. The women's show will feature a DOUBLE MAIN EVENT, which was signed at the 10/23 Highland event.

Two more matches were announced on 11/3 for the event. Before we get into those bouts, let's recap the two matches which comprise the double main event...

In the first of the two main events, IWA Mid-South/NWA Midwest Women's Champion MERCEDES MARTINEZ will defend the title against MsCHIF. This match comes on the heels of several confrontations over the past month between the two athletes. Mercedes won the championship from LACEY on 9/17, but was pinned by MsChif the following day in a non-title six-way elimination match. MICKIE KNUCKLES was given the first title shot at Martinez on 10/23 (by virtue of winning a #1 contenders match), but MsChif felt she deserved the first shot since she already pinned the champion, and attacked Mickie during her title match, causing a disqualification. Martinez and MsChif proceeded to brawl all over the Lincoln Center. IWA-MS officials immediately signed a title match between the two for the 11/20 women's show, with no countout or disqualification!

The second main event will renew the rivalry between former champ LACEY and DAIZEE HAZE, who have competed in numerous fast paced, athletic bouts for the past nine months. The two have split victories along the way, wrestling one another in the first IWA-MS women's 2 out of 3 falls match, as well as the first IWA-MS women's knockout/submission match. When Daizee was given the option of choosing her opponent for the 11/20 event out of all the women signed to appear on the card, she immediately asked for another match against Lacey to settle their unfinished business. On 11/20 in Highland, Lacey and Daizee will face one another in another IWA-MS women's division first, a thirty minute iron-woman match. Whoever scores the most pinfalls or submissions in thirty minutes will be declared the winner!

Just added to the 11/20 card is a first time ever meeting between two wrestlers of very similar styles, as international star SARA DEL RAY (recently competing for AAA in Mexico as well as AtoZ in Japan) will go up against one of IWA-MS's own, Chris Hero & Ian Rotten trainee MICKIE KNUCKLES. While in her home region of California, Del Ray has appeared for groups such as Pro Wrestling Iron, All Pro Wrestling, and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla. Sara is currently training under the guidance of "American Dragon" Bryan Danielson. This is sure to be a hard hitting bout, roughly two weeks away!

Also on 11/20, Canadian competitor and TNA star TRACY BROOKS will step in the ring against west coast sensation CHEERLEADER MELISSA of All Pro Wrestling. Melissa has international experience, having competed in Europe as well as for Arsion in Japan. She is highly regarded as one of the very best American female technical wrestlers of the past several years. Melissa will make her way to IWA-MS just after appearing for LLF in Mexico this coming week. Both of these women have a great deal of experience, but have rarely appeared for organizations in the same general region of North America thus far in their careers. IWA-MS will put these two in the ring with one another on 11/20!

More matches for the 11/20 Highland event will be announced during the days remaining before the event. Also signed to appear on the card, in addition to the aforementioned matches: Minnesota native and IWA-MS mainstay RAIN, east coast competitor CINDY ROGERS, current GLORY champ ARIEL (fresh off her second tour for LLF in Mexico), and more to be announced! We will also present a regular IWA-MS event on 11/19 in the Bloomington, IN, featuring several of the women appearing on the 11/20 show, including Del Ray, Melissa, and Martinez.
