--PETEY RETAINS TITLE AGAINST PUNK!
--HERO AND DANIELSON WRESTLE TO DRAW!
--NEW ALBANY TONIGHT!

IWA Mid-South Wrestling, in association with NWA Midwest, debuted at the
National Guard Armory in Evansville, Indiana on Wednesday night, September 15th.
Here's what went down...

1. DANNY DANIELS def. "The King of Diamonds" EDDIE KINGSTON in the opening
contest with a piledriver.

2. MsCHIF def. TRACY BROOKS & MICKIE KNUCKLES after hitting the Desecrator on
Mickie.

3. "Spyder" NATE WEBB def. "The New Age Punisher" B-BOY with a roll up.

4. MAD MAN PONDO & CASH FLO (w/ Pearl Harbor) def. CORPORAL ROBINSON & 2 TUFF
TONY in an Elimination Falls Count Anywhere Tables Match. Pondo was the sole
survivor in the match after Tony turned on Corporal, leading to the final
elimination.

5. "Metalhead" STEVE STONE (w/ Jim Fannin) def. JC BAILEY with the White Out.

6. "Anarchist" ARIK CANNON def. RODERICK STRONG with the Glimmering Warlock.

7. "Double C" CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI def. ALEX SHELLEY with Swiss Sleeper Holding.

8. "The Phenomenal" AJ STYLES def. MATT SYDAL following the Styles Clash.
Following the matchup, it was announced that on 10/21 in Evansville, Styles will
compete in a four-way matchup against PETEY WILLIAMS, CHRIS SABIN, and the
returning "Fallen Angel" CHRISTOPHER DANIELS.

9. "American Dragon" BRYAN DANIELSON wrestled CHRIS HERO to a two out of three
falls draw. Danielson scored the first fall with a roll up/bridge combination.
Hero evened the match following the Hero's Welcome. The third fall saw both men
trapped in a dueling indian dealthlock/Hangman's Clutch variation, and both
submitted at the very same time. Referee BRYCE REMSBURG ruled the match a draw.
During the match, ARIK CANNON came to ringside, taunting Hero. Afterwards,
Danielson tried to return to the locker room alongside Cannon, but was stopped
by promoter IAN ROTTEN, who declared that the next time Hero and Danielson face
one another in an IWA ring, it will be as part of a sixty minute iron-man match.

10. PETEY WILLIAMS def. CM PUNK in the main event to retain the IWA World
Heavyweight Title via submission with a sharpshooter.

The event was filmed by Smart Mark Video for VHS and DVD release, with
commentary by Dave Prazak, Eddie Kingston, Chris Hero, Ian Rotten, Nate Webb,
Tracy Brooks, CM Punk, and AJ Styles.

Also announced for the return Evansville event on 10/21 was Samoa Joe vs. the
debuting Abyss.

IWA-MS returns to the site of the 1997 King of the Death Matches tournament, the
National Guard Armory (2909 Grant Line Road) in New Albany, IN, TONIGHT,
Thursday, September 16th. Bell time is 7:30pm. All seats just $15. The Armory is
located just minutes outside of Louisville.
