--IWA DEBUTS IN EVANSVILLE THIS WEDNESDAY NIGHT!!

--THURSDAY NIGHT IN NEW ALBANY, JUST OUTSIDE LOUISVILLE!!

--2004 TPI FRIDAY & SATURDAY IN HIGHLAND!!

 

 

IWA Mid-South Wrestling, in association with the midwest office of the National Wrestling Alliance, proudly presents a quadruple shot of live events this week throughout the state of Indiana!

 

Featured tomorrow night, Wednesday, 9/15, is IWA's debut in the historic wrestling city of Evansville, IN! Then this Thursday night, IWA finally returns to the Louisville area with an event just over the border in New Albany, IN! The week will be capped off with the 2004 edition of the Ted Petty Invitational tournament on Friday and Saturday, 9/17 & 9/18, in Highland, IN, right outside Chicago. All of the card information for each event, as well as driving directions to the venues, can be found below.

 

First of all, we have a card update for tomorrow night's event in Evansville, as The Necro Butcher will be unavailable to appear in the scheduled Tables Match against Mad Man Pondo due to having to leave for his Big Japan Pro Wrestling tour before the show. As a result, IWA management has signed a tag team style Tables Match, where the only way to win is for one team to put a member of the opposing team through a table, and then score a pinfall. This will also be held under Falls Count Anywhere stipulations! It will be the team of Mad Man Pondo and Cash Flo taking one of the most dominant tandems on the Evansville wrestling scene, "The Lynch Mob" of Corporal Robinson and 2 Tuff Tony!

 

This match has been added to an already stellar lineup of matches, including former NWA World Heavyweight Champion "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles taking on Matt Sydal in a rematch from their classic 4/10 encounter in Highland, as well as Chris Hero against "American Dragon" Bryan Danielson in a two out of three falls rematch from 8/21! Plus Petey Williams will defend the IWA World Heavyweight Title against former champion CM Punk, and a whole lot more. Full card details are below!

Mention that you are with IWA, and you will receive a discounted room rate ($69 per night). Rooms available while they last, so make your reservations ASAP if you're planning on coming in from out of town to catch the TPI.

We are happy to inform the fans that Smart Mark Video will be in to shoot all four events for VHS and DVD releases!

Additionally on 9/18 from 11am to 2pm at the Lincoln Center will be a training seminar with former NWA World Heavyweight Champion "The Phenomenal" AJ STYLES! If you've ever wanted to get in the ring yourself and get a taste of what it's like to be a professional wrestler, this is your "fantasy camp" opportunity to learn about what it takes to physically perform in the ring from one of the very best in the business today. The seminar is open to fans with no pro wrestling experience, as well as those who may have some training under their belt already who would like to learn hands-on from AJ. The three hour seminar is limited to 25 people, and is available on a first come, first served basis. Cost is $75, and must be paid in full on Friday, 9/17. Only a few spots still remain. As soon as the training seminar concludes at 2pm, we will conduct a fan Q&A session for the remainder of the afternoon, with many of the wrestlers appearing during the weekend's events. Admission to the Q&A is free of charge to all fans, but seating will be limited. The Q&A, as always, will be filmed by Smart Mark Video for a future VHS release.
