IWA Mid-South Wrestling, in association with NWA Midwest, returns to the Lincoln Center (2450 Lincoln Street) in Highland, Indiana THIS SATURDAY NIGHT, July 31st. Bell time is 7:30pm. Tickets are $20, $15, and $10, and will be available at the door.

A few changes have been made to the scheduled lineup of matches. Samoa Joe is currently on the sidelines with a leg injury aggrivated by wrestling several times this past weekend, and will unfortunately be unable to compete this Saturday. Joe details his injuries from this past weekend in his web site journal at http://www.livejournal.com/users/xsweatpeax/ for those who'd like to check it out. As a result, the scheduled bout between Joe and B-Boy has been rescheduled to take place on a future IWA Mid-South event.

While Samoa Joe vs. B-Boy has been pulled from the show, several others have now been added to the event. Among the new matches will be a hardcore style confrontation between 2003 King of the Death Matches winner Mad Man Pondo and 2004 KOTDM finalist "Mr. Insanity" Toby Klein, with Barbed Wire Tables stipulations! Additionally, Nigel McGuinness and Chad Collyer have now been added to the show.

LACEY INJURY UPDATE & WOMEN'S TITLE
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Lacey's knee injury is not as serious as first thought. It will not require surgery. Doctors believe that she will be able to return in as soon as six weeks (or up to three months, if it doesn't heal as quickly).

IWA management will not strip her of the Women's Title due to the injury. As it is, we only have one women's match per regular event, and not every women's match features the champion. Thus, the Women's Title isn't required to be defended as frequently as the men's titles. While Lacey is out of action, fans will see the other female wrestlers on the IWA roster compete in the women's bouts.

Lacey worked hard to earn the title back on 5/30, defeating Tracy Brooks, MsChif, Daizee Haze, and Mercedes Martinez to represent the IWA Women's Division as champion. She will have the opportunity to continue her reign as champion as soon as she is ready to return to the ring.


NWA NO LIMITS WRESTLING - THIS FRI 7/30
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

One of our sister promotions within NWA Midwest, NWA No Limits Wrestling, will hold an event this Friday, July 30th, at the Masonic Temple (420 18th Street) in Rock Island, IL (just over the Iowa border). The event features many of the wrestlers competing on the Highland card the next day, including AJ Styles, CM Punk, Delirious, Matt Sydal, Nate Webb, Tracy Brooks, Jimmy Jacobs, Arik Cannon, Mark Wolf, and Danny Daniels.
