--IWA DEBUT IN HIGHLAND TONIGHT!!
--NORTH VERNON, INDIANA ON SATURDAY!!

IWA Mid-South Hardcore Wrestling returned to the National Guard Armory in Salem,
IN on Thursday night, October 23rd for "Revenge Served Cold." Here's what went
down...

IAN ROTTEN began the show by announcing to the live crowd the final 24 men
competing in the 2003 Ted Petty Invitational tournament, just two weeks from now
in Salem, less than a mile away from the Armory at Salem High School. Rotten
also informed the fans that due to TRACY SMOTHERS' multiple concussions, he
mistakenly didn't realize that the shows he was scheduled to appear on were
Thursday and Friday (he had Friday and Saturday written down). That's Tracy. As
a result, Smothers will appear on Friday's event in Highland, IN as scheduled,
and will now also appear on Saturday's card in North Vernon, IN. Also out of
action this weekend due to injuries are CHRIS SABIN and TRUTH MARTINI. Ian
announced that the return event to the Armory in Salem would be on Thanksgiving
night, 11/27, featuring DANNY DANIELS (if he is still IWA World Heavyweight
Champion at that time) defending the title against the returning HOMICIDE. Ian
closed the opening announcements by remembering STU HART. A ten bell salute for
Stu followed. Rotten also made mention of the passing of ROAD WARRIOR HAWK this
past week, and said IWA will fittingly toll the bell for Hawk on Friday night at
the card right outside of Chicago.

1. JAIMY COXXX def. DELIRIOUS when Delirious came charging into a big boot in
the corner from Coxxx, and Jaimy covered him with his feet on the ropes for
extra leverage.

2. "Metalhead" STEVE STONE def. JOSH ABERCROMBIE with the White Out.

3. MICKIE KNUCKLES def. DAIZEE HAZE with a northern lights suplex. Before the
match, IAN ROTTEN told Mickie that from now on she would only be permitted to
wrestle women, making note of Mickie's low blows to gain an advantage in matches
against NATE WEBB and CASH FLO. After witnessing Daizee's showing against
Mickie, post-match Ian told her that she is welcome back in the IWA any time her
schedule allows.

4. ALEX SHELLEY def. "Spyder" NATE WEBB with It Came From Japan (also known as
the Darkness Driver). As WEBB was going for Soylent Green, Shelley's legs
knocked down referee JASON HARDING. Webb hit the move on Shelley, but with the
ref down, "Metalhead" STEVE STONE left the commentary table, hit the ring, and
gave Webb the White Out. Not having seen Stone's interference, Shelley got back
to his feet and quickly got the pinfall victory. Post-match Stone got on the mic
and complained about not being happy with IWA management over being left out of
the field for the TPI tournament when he had defeated many of the competitors
that are a part of it during his time in IWA Mid-South.

5. JC BAILEY def. "Confederate Currency" CHRIS HAMRICK with a roll-up. After the
match, Hamrick gave Bailey a piledriver off the second rope, only to be run off
by IAN ROTTEN. Rotten asked Hamrick for a tag match on Thanksgiving night, with
JC as Ian's partner against Hamrick and anyone he wants. Hamrick accepted, and
suggested that TRACY SMOTHERS would be his partner, but Rotten argued that Tracy
wouldn't agree to do such a thing.

6. IAN ROTTEN def. CASH FLO (w/ Jim Fannin) in a wild Lumberjack Match with the
Rotten Rush. Throughout the bout, CHRIS HAMRICK got involved on Cash's behalf
whenever the referee's attention was diverted.

7. In the main event, "Barbaric Berzerker" JIMMY JACOBS def. BJ WHITMER (w/ Jim
Fannin) following The Contra Code. Over the course of approximately 25 minutes,
Whitmer was unable to pin Jacobs following several devastating maneuvers,
including his trademark exploder suplex, as well as a top rope superplex. As
Whitmer was going to give Jacobs a top rope powerbomb, Jacobs countered in
mid-air into a rana on Whitmer for a nearfall. Jacobs gained a very impressive
pinfall victory in this bout, as well as gaining his own measure of revenge for
Whitmer superbombing Jacobs' new valet BECKY BAYLESS through a table a few weeks
earlier. Jacobs' win over a four year veteran of, and the winner of the 2002
TPI, just two weeks before Jacobs competes in his first Sweet Science
tournament, gives him tremendous momentum in IWA competition. Bayless will
return to Jacobs' side during his matches in the tournament.

The event was filmed by Smart Mark Video, with commentary by Dave Prazak, Jim
Fannin, Steve Stone, and Ian Rotten.

IWA Mid-South debuts at the Lincoln Center (located at 2450 Lincoln Street) in
Highland, Indiana TONIGHT, Friday, October 24th. Bell time is 7:30pm Central.
Tickets are $20, $15, and $12, are currently available at the Lincoln Center box
office, and will be available at the door. Highland is just outside of Chicago,
off exit 2A in Indiana on I-94. Directions to the venue can be found at

Street) in North Vernon, Indiana THIS SATURDAY NIGHT, October 25th. Bell time is
7:30pm Central. Tickets are $10 & $8 and will be available at the door. The
venue is located just off exit 50 on I-65. Matches for the North Vernon card
will be determined by the events of Friday night in Highland. Among those
scheduled to appear in North Vernon: IAN ROTTEN, JC BAILEY, "Confederate
Currency" CHRIS HAMRICK, "Wild Eyed Southern Boy" TRACY SMOTHERS, JARED & JASON
LANCASTER, CASH FLO, and more to be announced at the show Friday night in
Highland.
