--DANIELS RETAINS TITLE AGAINST CABANA!!
--ROTTEN AND BAILEY GO TO DOUBLE PIN; CAGE MATCH 11/15!!
--LANCASTERS LOOK TOO MUCH ALIKE!!

IWA Mid-South Hardcore Wrestling returned to action at the Oolitic Community
Center in Oolitic, Indiana on Saturday night, October 11th. Here's what went
down...

1. THE NECRO BUTCHER def. "Metalhead" STEVE STONE in the opening contest with
the Asiatic Spike.

2. "Spyder" NATE WEBB def. MICKIE KNUCKLES in an intergender matchup. Much
like HY-ZAYA in his match against Mickie back in August, Webb held himself back
with some of his offense due to the fact that he was wrestling a woman.
Frustrated that she was not being treated as an equal in the ring, Mickie began
to
use some shady tactics to anger Nate into being more aggressive during the
bout, including pretending to cry after taking a devastating maneuver, only to
fire up on Webb with a flurry of forearms as soon as he let his guard down. As
Mickie was going for a superplex, Nate countered into a crossbody off the ropes
for the three count.

3. JARED LANCASTER def. CORPORAL ROBINSON. After referee DONNIE BOWDEN was
knocked out of commission, Jared's twin brother JASON LANCASTER hit the ring,
and rolled Jared out to the floor, where he then hid underneath the ring. Jason
laid in the ring pretending to be his brother, and was able to easily score a
three count on a weakened Robinson, as the referee couldn't tell the brothers
apart. After the match, JIM FANNIN congratulated the Lancasters on the victory
and proclaimed that either one of them could defeat Robinson in singles
matches, or against Corp and any partner of his in a tag match.

4. HY-ZAYA def. JASON LANCASTER (w/ Jim Fannin in his corner) following a
swanton bomb off the top rope. As the twins attempted the switch once again,
CORPORAL ROBINSON ran to ringside to put a stop to it. Post-match, this led to
TNE
NECRO BUTCHER hitting the ring to come to Corp's aid. Robinson announced that
he accepted Fannin's challenge, and at the return show in Oolitic on November
15th, it will be the Lancaster Twins against Corp and Necro.

5. DANNY DANIELS (w/ Jim Fannin) successfully defended the IWA World
Heavyweight Championship against former champ "Classic" COLT CABANA. In just
under 30
minutes of action, Daniels scored the pinfall with a backslide and his feet on
the bottom rope for added leverage.

6. In the main event Fans Bring the Weapons Match, IAN ROTTEN wrestled JC
BAILEY to a double pin. This was a rematch from both 10/3 in Scottsburg, as well
as the semi-finals of the 2003 King of the Death Matches tournament. Rotten
was unable to make Bailey give up during their hard hitting contest in
Scottsburg, and the same was true in this bloody matchup, even with added
weapons
involved-- including chairs, staple guns, two barbed wire boards, two ladders,
and
fluorescent light tubes. Following the double pin, Bailey got on the
microphone and said that he wasn't happy with the outcome, and wants the chance
to
prove that KOTDM wasn't a fluke and he can defeat Rotten again. Ian responded by
saying he is confident that he can make Bailey say "I quit" during yet another
rematch between the two. They determined that they would go at it once again
at the return show in Oolitic on November 15th, this time inside a steel cage.

SHOW NOTES: Rollin Hard is currently out of action with a foot injury, and
was unable to compete in his scheduled matchup... The show was filmed by IWA for
home video release on Smart Mark Video, with commentary by Dave Prazak, Jim
Fannin, Nate Webb, and Corporal Robinson.

IWA Mid-South's next event will be at the National Guard Armory (located at
1100 N. Shelby Street) in Salem, Indiana on Thursday night, October 23rd. Bell
time is 7:30pm Central. Tickets are $10 & $8. This show will be "Revenge
Served Cold," featuring Jimmy Jacobs trying to settle the score with BJ Whitmer
for
injuring Jacobs' new valet Becky Bayless, as well as Ian Rotten vs. Cash Flo
in a grudge match from the last Salem event.

IWA Mid-South debuts at the Lincoln Center (located at 2450 Lincoln Street)
in Highland, Indiana on Friday night, October 24th. Bell time is 7:30pm
Central. Tickets are $20, $15, and$12, and are currently available in advance at
the
Lincoln Center.

IWA Mid-South - August 1 & 2, 2003 - "King of the Death Matches 2003"

This 2 tape set which runs close to 10 hours covers 2 nights of the most
hardcore, violent, bloody, insane death match wrestling in the world today.
16 men
from all over the country competed in matches such as fans bring the weapons
(and they brought some of the craziest stuff I have ever seen), four corners
of pain, bed of nails, caribbean spider web, barbed wire canvas, taipei
death,
electrified lighttubes, high impact tables matches, house of horrors inside a
steel cage and much more. Although this is King of the Death Matches, IWA
also
showcased their great wrestling with several fantastic, extremely hard
hitting matches. Highlights include Homicide in two seperate off the charts
matches
against Chris Hero and BJ Whitmer....Chris Hero vs Danny Daniels in a
fantastic match....the CZW vs IWA war also continued as Sonjay Dutt battled
Alex
Shelley in a great match and also a 3 way tag which saw CZW get its hands on
former
CZW star M-Dogg 20 in a match that had the crowd going crazy....Messiah
defending the CZW title in a great match against Corporal Robinson....the
wrestling
debut of female ref Mickie which saw her get hit with the sickest forearm I
have ever seen and then dropped on her head onto the top of a chair. There is
just too many things that happened to list here, but these were just two
fantastic nights of wrestling and hardcore as only IWA can do. Tape includes
lots of
replays from 3 different camera angles and post match interviews with the
tournament competitors. These shows have something for everyone so if you are
a
hardcore fan or a fan of great wrestling, this is a must see show.
