--KING OF THE DEATH MATCHES TOURNEY BEGINS TONIGHT!!
--HERO VS HOMICIDE, JACOBS VS LYNN!!
It all begins tonight! IWA Mid-South Hardcore Wrestling presents the 2003 edition of its "King of the Death Matches" tournament on Friday & Saturday, August 1st & 2nd, at the IWA Arena (1390 Woerner Avenue) in Clarksville, Indiana. This is a two night, sixteen man single elimination tournament, with the first round matches to be held on tonight's card, and the final rounds to take place on Saturday. In addition to the tournament, several non-tournament bouts are scheduled for both nights.
Tickets still remain in the $20 & $18 seating areas, and will be available (while they last) at the door each night. Two night discount passes are no longer available for purchase. Bell time on Friday night is 8pm Eastern, while Saturday night's bell time will be 7:30pm Eastern, to allow for the additional matches on the card that evening.
IWA Mid-South is proud to announce that we have come to an agreement with the Samurai TV martial arts and wrestling channel in Japan. A crew from Samurai TV will be in for the weekend's events, and KOTDM will air during the coming weeks on Japanese television. IWA is honored to have Samurai TV on board, as they will provide the competitors involved in the tournament, and the promotion as a whole, with tremendous international exposure.

There will be twelve matches in all on tonight's card!
NOTES: The stipulations for the later rounds in the tournament will not be revealed until Saturday night... The non-tournament matches for Saturday's event will be announced at the conclusion of Friday night's card... For clarification, the rules of the High Impact Tables Match is that the pin must take place after the opponent is put through a table following a maneuver off an elevated surface... In addition to Samurai TV, Smart Mark Video will still be filming all of the weekend's events... We will be holding a Q&A session, which will also be filmed by SMV for video release, on Saturday afternoon. It will be held at the Best Western in Scottsburg, Indiana from noon to 2pm. The admission is free for the people from the east coast bus trip, and $5 for everyone else. The Q&A will be held in an air conditioned room which is why it will not be held at the IWA Arena. Directions from Louisville: Take I-65 north to Exit 29 Scottsburg. The hotel is right off the exit. We hope to see all of you there for a great afternoon of interacting with all your favorite IWA stars and some of the out of town talent that is a part of the weekend as well... Fans also take note that front row ringside ticket passes for the 2003 Ted Petty Invitational Tournament, to be held November 7th & 8th in Clarksville, IN, will go on sale at intermission this Friday night. The front row two day TPI passes will be $50. If you would like to get the best seating possible for this year's TPI, which will feature 24 of the best technical wrestlers in the world today, plan ahead to pick up your tickets this Friday night.

DIRECTIONS TO THE IWA ARENA - 1390 WOERNER AVE. - CLARKSVILLE, IN
Coming from Louisville: Take I-65 North to Exit 0. Go straight to the 2nd
stop sign (past McDonalds and Waffle House) and turn left onto 7th Street. Go
through the 1st stop sign and turn right into Water Tower Square (400
Missouri Street). Go straight all the way to the back of the parking lot to
find the IWA building.
Coming from Indianapolis: Take I-65 South to Exit 0. Go straight at the stop
sign by KOBE. As soon as you go under the bridge, turn right on Missouri
Street. Then turn left into the Water Tower Square at 400 Missouri Street. Go
straight all the way to the back of the parking lot to find the IWA building.
Construction Note: There is currently some work being done on Missouri Avenue which makes accessibility to the IWA Arena more difficult for a short period of time. To get to the building without using Missouri Avenue, go straight through the stop sign by KOBE, and pass Missouri. Hang a right on Woerner Avenue (this will take you around the back of the building). Drive all the way past the building, and make a right at the stop sign (which will take you back around the front), and then make another right into the parking lot.
