--DON'T MISS THE "SPIRIT OF '76!!"
IWA Mid-South Hardcore Wrestling returns to action at the IWA Arena (1390 Woerner Ave.) in Clarksville, IN TONIGHT, Saturday, May 24th, for "Spirit of '76." Bell time is 8pm Eastern. Tickets are $25, $20, & $15, and will be available at the door.
The team of former IWA World Heavyweight Champions Mad Man Pondo and Badboy Hido will attempt to collect the $5,000 bounty placed on the head of Ian Rotten by Michael Todd Stratton tonight, as it will be Pondo and Hido taking on "Bad Breed" Ian & Axl Rotten in what promises to be a wild tag team brawl.
It will be a three way elimination hardcore matchup as Bull Pain, Corporal Robinson, and "Mean" Mitch Page battle it out.
The IWA World Heavyweight Title will be defended by champion Chris Hero against the 2001 Sweet Science Sixteen champion "Sexy" Ace Steel, while the Light Heavyweight Title will be defended by champion JC Bailey against Michael Todd Stratton.
"Spirit of '76" boasts of several potential spectacular technical wrestling matchups, including the debut of "Confederate Currency" Chris Hamrick as he faces CM Punk... The feud rages on between two of the most promising young wrestlers in IWA today as it will be "The Barbaric Berzerker" Jimmy Jacobs vs. Alex Shelley once again, but this time in a Thirty Minute Iron-Man Match... BJ Whitmer is set to take on Stan Dupp in what should be a very hard hitting contest...

Please note that the originally scheduled Heavyweight Title Match between Chris Hero and Justice Pain has been changed due to IWA management's inability to confirm the booking with Pain in several attempts during this past week. As a result, former Sweet Science Sixteen champion "Sexy" Ace Steel will get the title shot. CM PUNK & LUCY RETURN TO NWA TNA 5/21

IWA Mid-South performers once again appeared for NWA Total Non-Stop Action this past Wednesday night in Nashville, TN. Lucy wrestled in a dark match (taped for Xplosion) against Simply Luscious. Luscious defeated Lucy with a death valley driver.
CM Punk wrestled in the opening match of the pay-per-view broadcast, in a four way dance against Paul London, Jason Cross, and Kid Romeo. During the course of the bout Punk was given a nasty looking powerbomb on the floor by two of his opponents. Punk finished the match (he was the first eliminated) but was still feeling the effects of the powerbomb later in the evening. The match itself was won by Paul London with a shooting star press.
KING OF THE DEATH MATCHES RAPIDLY APPROACHING!

The 2003 "King of the Death Matches" tournament will take place on August 1st & 2nd in Clarksville, IN. Tickets are currently on sale, and moving fast. You can still get tickets in the 3rd and 4th rows of the floor, as well as general admission. Prices are $36 & $32 for two night packages, or $20 & $18 for single night tickets. Tickets can be purchased at any live IWA events or by sending a check or money order payable to Jim Fannin, to: IWA Mid-South, PO Box 21476, Louisville, KY 40221.

Also, there will be non-tournament matches on both nights. Already signed for the first night is a rematch of one of the most talked about rivalries in IWA history, CM Punk vs. Chris Hero.

stop sign (past McDonalds and Waffle House) and turn left onto 7th Street. Go

Missouri Street). Go straight all the way to the back of the parking lot to
find the IWA building.
Coming from Indianapolis: Take I-65 South to Exit 0. Go straight at the stop
sign by KOBE. As soon as you go under the bridge, turn right on Missouri
Street. Then turn left into the Water Tower Square at 400 Missouri Street. Go
straight all the way to the back of the parking lot to find the IWA building.
