Hey Folks,
I’ve had ITBFS for 4 years now. The foam roller works, but it deflates over
time. I use these small inflatable fit balls. They’re awesome. Google the
text: “Fit Ball Small Ball”.

I recommend getting a very hard one (there is a lot of variation). If it's
not marketed as dense or hard then it will probably develop ruts and be less
useful to you in a short amount of time. Yes, it may hurt a little at first
but after a while it will be second nature. Make sure to stretch
immediately after rolling to get maximum benefit. I also believe doing the
same thing for your other leg (assuming only 1 has itbs) occasionally is a
good idea. After all, imbalance is what brought most of us here.
