I have been dealing with IT band problems for about a year now. It
first began in my right leg. I went to PT, used the roller, iced etc.
For the past two months, I have not been having any problems with my
right leg. About two weeks ago, I started having symptoms in my left
leg. I have a 1/2 marathon in two weeks. I am fairly new to running
(started about a year ago) and have yet ran over 10 miles (I am more
active with triathlon Olympic distance races). This weekend I have an
11 mile run scheduled and then I will begin tapering. Should I skip
the 11 mile run and cross train, or continue my training as scheduled?
Last weekend, I ran 8 miles and the last two miles, my IT band was
throbbing! I want to make sure I am prepared for this 1/2 marathon,
but I don't want to make matters worse.

Thanks,
Kristie
