I'm interested in knowing if, aside from the ART therapy, if you got
orthotics for your running shoes, and if you have any strength differences
between your 2 legs, etc. I have been dealing with my IT, and physical
therapy since August, and still am not running. I was released to run 10
minutes by my PT and then got a hematoma behind my left knee. Still a
little bit swollen and tendar. I had an ultrasound done almost 2 weeks
ago. My Physician told me no running, swimming, yoga, etc. for 3-4 weeks.
I am 2 weeks today into my non-activity state and it's driving me bonkers.
I'm looking for relief and no one seems to have the answers. No one in my
area, that I have found, does ART therapy. My next step is to get an MRI on
the back of my knee and possibly see an ortho for any recommendations.
I have a positive outlook and know I will get better and be running again, I
just wish it was sooner than later. Any ideas or Dr's who do phone
consults. I know its not likely, but I'm desperate.
I currently see a chiropractor regularly as well as a sports massage
therapist who gives great relief. But, alas, I'm still not running.
Thanks.
