Re: continue running through ITBS?

Rina,

Your doc gave you some bad advice. Running thru the pain,
bad idea. If your condition isn't chronic it may become chronic if
you continue running thru the pain.

Have you asked you doc about doing a session of PT?
If you do, I recommend finding a PT that is an athletic trainer as
well. Nothing worse than getting a PT that doesn't work out, find
someone who loves running, who has experience with ITband problems,
and successful completion getting those people rehabbed.
You want the best physical therapist around right!

I'm currently very sour about PT's since once screwed me up worse..
so I'm recovering from PT. Good luck, stick to your gut, if
something they are saying sounds like crap, well it just might be.

Connie
