Dear Hanan!
Last time I spoke with Ilan of "Ilan's bikes", he was going to shut
down the store and leave Israel for a duration. I guess, the fact that
his phone is disconnected means that he'd went through with his
decision. He planned to pass the exclusivity to someone else, but I'm
not sure that this indeed happened - so as of now, there's no Brompton
dealer in Israel. What can be done about this is that we can gather up
a certain number of orders and order Bromptons by ourselves. For just
one bike it will probably be easier for you to bring it from abroad.
As of Dahons, there is supposed to be a new dealer. His showroom is
located, if I'm not mistaken, somewhere near the Ramat Gan mall
(Renault agency, perhaps?) Shelli, who is also on this list, made the
inquiry and contacted the dealer. It was also about a month ago - and
the dealer was in the process of setting things up. So it's Brompton
out, Dahon in, I guess. I hope Shelli will update us as to whether
this dealer is all set by now.
That's about all, I guess. Welcome aboard!
