"RAAM – Pennsylvania's own Ray Peske (Yellow Breeches Racing) is
contesting the Race Across America for TeamEndeavor.  The team has
been training for the RAAM the past year and hopes to have a good
showing at the finish line.  They are also raising money on behalf of
the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society by taking donations and also
raffling off a car which was donated to the team from one of their
sponsor's Volvo (C70 convertible).  Follow the race on the RAAM
website at www.raceacrossamerica.org  or through the team website at
www.teamendeavor.org.  The website has details of the raffle and how
to purchase tickets.  The race starts June 10 for the soloists and
June 12 for the teams."

On the old road and with a slightly shorter course, I seem to recall
Josh going sub-12 minutes.

But with the new pavement and the longer course?  I dunno...

this year, but (somehow), PA DOT has made the climbs steeper AND
longer.

I had to camp halfway up Doubling Gap because I lost daylight; I made
the summit push the following morning.
