RE: [irishrugby] team announced

Hi Stuart,

Same questions asked in quite a few quarters - I'm afraid I don't have
the answers. It'll be an interesting game. Cheerio, John

Subject: [irishrugby] team announced

Murphy, Bowe, D'Arcy, S Horgan, A Horgan, O'Gara, Stringer, Horan,
Byrne, Hayes, DOC, MOK, S Easterby (C), JOC, Leamy.

SUBS: S Best, R Best, McCullough, N Best, Campbell, Humphreys, Dempsey

so there you go... some questions...

1. why is Dempsey on the bench? he covers only the back three for
whom there seems to be enough cover on the field anyway. Surely
Trimble should have been picked as he also covers the centres where
there would appear to be no cover.

2. what has A Horgan done to get in the team?

3. will someone make sure that D'Arcy gets to bed early this week?
he needs his rest.

4. finally LEAMY! Good player but how often has he played 8? I
don't see the point in keeping Foley at the expense of a talent like
Heaslip and then picking a player in that position who doesn't play
there!

cheers
stu

Betchya Easterby goes 8th man. Leamy would be alright on the blindside. Nowhere else. O'Connor has been playing fantastic rugby from what I've seen of Wasps on...

Either way John, there is not one true No 8 in the entire squad. EOS picked this team on form?? O Driscoll and Casey are probably the form 2nd rows. Best and...
