Hi Skaters,
It's Memorial Day Weekend in San Francisco and there's a lot of things going on.
Gas prices have risen just in time for the occassion. If you are planning to
stick close to the City this holiday weekend come on out to San Francisco's
Golden Gate Park where Kennedy Drive will be closed to cars ALL HOLIDAY WEEKEND
LONG!!!! That means the road closure on Healthy Saturday, the Sunday road
closure, and the Monday Holiday road closure. It's free, it's fun and everyone
can join in.
We will kick things off tonight with the Midnight Rollers Friday Night Skate.
The numbers are growing and fun level is rising. Meet us tonight at the Ferry
Building at 9:00 P.M. http://www.cora.org/friday.phtml
Would you like to skate in the Carnaval Parade this Sunday? There is a group of
dancers that need some skaters to be with them in the parade. This is one of San
Francisco's largest parade/festivals with about 500,000 people there to check
out the scene. Please reply if you would like to participate.
