Hi Skaters,

There were estimates that nearly 15,000 people came out for the first Sunday
Streets event of 2009. SF Weekly online has a great slide show on the event. See

We are going to planning a press conference next week promoting the May 10th
event It will probably be Wednesday or Thursday at about 11AM. I'm putting this
out now because I know some of you would like to be there if you can plan it.

Skating will be an even bigger component of this installment of Sunday Streets.
