Hi Skaters,
The second Sunday Streets event in San Francisco was another great success. Six
miles of roads along San Francisco's waterfront was closed to traffic so people
could come play in the streets. Once again the Thriller skaters and the hula
hoops were some of the main draws to the event. You could feel the energy we
are all used to on Sundays in Golden Gate Park when there are no cars.
We set up a roller rink with my skate school. We did free skate lessons and
promoted Rollersoccer. There is a video on the event that puts some of the
political spin (that's skater/alt transit politics) at

Check this out because it merely the tip of the iceberg. We are rollin'
forward with plans to help promote skating and to develop new skaters. I plan
to help initiate similar efforts on other cities and try to bring skating into
focus.
Keep Rollin',
