I am not aware of a similar event in the Tampa Bay area. You might, however,
approach Darry Jackson at Bill Jackson's if you are interesting in starting a
like event. Bill Jackson's hosts several skating events and they might have an
interest in working with you.

Hi all,

The Skate Against Violence sounds like a great skate and a great cause.
However, is it only held between SF and LA? I live in W. Florida (near
Tampa) and wonder: has anyone set a like event in motion on this
coastline?

SF's a bit far for me to go right now, but I would love to participate
in a skate against... well... anything. Anyone know if there's a
similar event on this side of the US?
