Re: [inline-instruction] Re: Tring to start something

Thank you Phil, those are interesting tips. I am not sure where I could rent
skates in Calgary. I actually don't think their is a location but maybe I will
find some luck somewhere!!

Phil Lenihan <phil@...> wrote:Ryan... are you looking to buy an
inventory of skates for you skating
group lessons? Then I would contact the local skating company reps. You
should be able to get this from a local retailer.

You might look into who is renting inline skates in Calgary. That would be
a more economical way to go. I have been teaching groups since 1997 and
always rely on rentals for my students to get skates. May students own
skates already. Owning a supply of skates could be a hassle. You have
storage, transportation, money invested, insurance on the inventory, size
problems. You will need skates, pads and helmets. Think it all our first.

The plus side is the total service that you provide right out of your truck
or tailer.

Cheers! PHIL

Ryan... You have never mentioned your instructor status. Are you an IISA Certified Instructor? If not that's what I would concentrate on first before you...
