week-end to come in 13th which is last.........I could do that with just

any old car, not the major investment this past winter I have made in

the beautiful CRX..........Anyone interested in buying a very nice red

CRX....It is SI, I am the original owner, has 207,000 well cared for

miles.....nice paint, no rust, fully prepared for STS, with two sets of

wheels 15 inch wheels, in addition to two sets of street 14 inch wheels.

....the interior is very nice, just like new.......I have full service

records......does not use oil........a real rocket for a younger

driver.......

Is this "I suck club" open to club racers as well as solo guys?:-)  I

have been racing since 2005 and I have yet to score a first place

trophy..  I have several 2nd place finishes but there is always at least

one person faster than I am at every event I have yet to show up to.

Need to work on a club Motto.

have been racing since 2005 and I have yet to score a first place

trophy.. I have several 2nd place finishes but there is always at least

didn't know about the other forum but i see it at the top of the indy home page,

so why do we need two forms anyway, is one for bitching and the other for the

rest of the drivel,i am not comuter literate or for that matter literate,of any

kind, but i do know a good course when i see one and we had 2 of them this

weekend and 3 if you count the short course

  there seems to be some discusion about the new I SUCK CLUB  so me being the ceo

of this club i will explain a little about how you get to become a member,, #1

is you must drive below of what your capeable of,, like for instance Will on sat

he was a member but on sunday he was banned from the membership and is no longer

allowed to partake in the I SUCK CLUB actives because he drove up to his

potential and maybe a little over

now clemens is trying to weesel into the club, but he can't because he got all

wet and smellie and is trying to use that as an excuse for his poor pax #

besides we don't need wet I SUCK MEMBERS

  a novice can never be a I SUCK CLUB  member because we don't know of what he is

capeable of so it's sort of hard for a new guy to get in

now we have Travis he thinks he is a member but he is not because he just drove

his normal $hitty way

then their is mr. metz he came in last so you would think he would be a member,

well i am not sure about him because he just payed a bunch of money to the EVO

school and he still finished last but then again he always finishes down their

anyway, i do know he should get a refund



another thing is you don't want to confuse being SUCCKIE with being stupid and

being a stupid idiot, the difference is if you are driving your street car

around on old worn out tires you are just plane stupid, if you run off the road

and hit a tree while driving on these worn out tires you are a stupid idiot,, or

even if you are driving you car after an event and your tires are ok but it is

raining and you come to a roundabout and run up over the curb and wreck your car

you are a stupid idiot, you new it was raining you stupid idiot



if you win your class every time by 2 seconds and then you win by only .5 then

you are a I SUCK CLUB member,, when you are an I SUCK MEMBER your sole duty in

life is to tell other I SUCK CLUB members that they SUCK , your are not doing

this to make fun of them it just reminds them that they SUCK and are not living

up to their potential



if you know some one who is a stupid idiot you should be nice to him and try and

get him to tell you why he is a stupid idiot and what caused him to be a stupid

idiot, so maybe you will not become a stupid idiot

forgeting to tighten up you lug nuts is stupid having the wheel fall off you are

a stupid idiot,, one of the ways to keep this from happening (this is for people

who shop a harbor freight)  when you use their battery impact wrench you should

only buy one socket that fits both the impact wrench and your torque wrench, so

if you ever see the socket on the impact wrench you know you forget to torque

the wheel ,

another person who thinks he is an I SUCK CLUB member is Jerry Strop, but he

lost his membership rights this weekend by finishing 8th out of 16 but i am

shure he will be back in the club before long he was almost stupid on sat when i

had to remind him to turn on all the driving aids that the Z06 has when he was

driving in the rain, he thought it was a good idea, he was close to becoming

stupid



another case of being stupid was the national champion driver of the SS lotus

this weekend he was on street tires in the rain but had hoosier rains at home

i just got the word that supper is ready, more later

Matthew, club racers are elgible for the I SUCK CLUB but it looks like in your

case you are driving up to your potential, face it you are just slow, now it

might not be your driving so don't take it to hard, it could be that you just

SCCAforums was added 2 years ago because this 'message board' is pretty limited.

This one is not going anywhere though. The SCCAforums was added since several

members were already there and it immerses members in the community better. Plus

us kids like true forums for discussion. Don't worry, you can bitch on both of

So, I should have left traction control on Saturday? Maybe I should join your

club then. I turned it all off. But, I don't have as much power as Jerry. I had

it pretty much under control on the first 2 runs - just slow - oh, and I was on

Thanks for enlightening many of us about the I SUCK CLUB rules.  That was very

educational.



Now about you...what do you think your potential exactly is?  You think you have

potential just because BMW paid you $1000 once for one week of autocrossing?

That's stupid.  You think just because BMW paid you $1000 once for one week of

autocrossing you can now just run a few big events per year and win those

instead of running weekend after weekend at the local events around Indiana

with us lowlifes?  That's stupid.  Being too cheap to buy tires and running

events to polish your autocrossing skills so that you can actually win again

and suck less?  I call that stupid, too.



I've heard the CEO of the I SUCK CLUB just got fired for having no potential and

being stupid squared.  I think that club got dissolved.



By the way, your I SUCK CLUB thread on SCCAFORUMS would probably have been

locked by know if this discussion took place over there.  This does not happen

at YahooGroups.  I guess the worst that can happen to you is the group owner

kicking you out.  That could be a new club, I guess.

Ah, come on now - I don't think that is fair. In 2 years there was only 1 day

when threads on a particular topic were closed due to discussion getting too

heated and a timeout being warranted. Larry's post doesn't come close to being

objectionable or caustic; it's pure humor at no ones expense and welcome in the

True - had forgotten about that one. But to be fair that was a request from the

thread starter who decided the issue was better handled off line than to

continue in public. It was not a case of enforcement, but rather fulfilling a

request. The sccaforums aren't highly moderated - about the only rules are treat

people well and don't make Indy Region look bad. If it is all in good fun, there

is no problem. Pretty much exactly the same behavior we would all expect at an

Indy event.

Matthew, club racers are elgible for the I SUCK CLUB but it looks like

in your case you are driving up to your potential, face it you are just

slow, now it might not be your driving so don't take it to hard, it

could be that you just have a $hitty car, lots of people are trying to

weesel into the club buy saying they are not winning but that's not how

it works, you got to do good and then not do good then you are an

automatic I SUCK CLUB member then you can partake in all of the club

activites, the one i like best is you are allowed to look at boobs and

talk to othe club members about it,

matthew , have you ever ran with the autocross bunch, it's lots of fun and

you will not   wreck your car, it's not over speeds that you would normaly run

on the highway, but it is quite chalineing, it is a lot cheaper and you can run

almost every weekend with columbus, indy, south bend, and ft.wayne all so close,

when i first started i found it to be tougher than the first time i played golf,

we really have a good bunch of nutty and dedicated people involved in the sport

at all different levels, they have an aussie persuit at 16st on the 12th july

and then we are back up to grissom on Aug 2 and then the divisional the next

weekend at grissom, it's about the cheapest form of motorsport that you can get

into and it's not all horsepower, it's more about torque and car handeling ,

with the driving being by far the most imporant part, come on out maybe we can

make you an honorary  I SUCK CLUB member for your first day

No I have never been to an autocross.  I have thought about it, but not

with my FV class car.  I have a 2005 Lotus Elise that I have thought of

taking out to an event, but I have been hesitant.  I love that car like

others love their children (perhaps more if you have bad kids), if

something happened to it I would be devastated.  I know in the spring

the SCCA runs some sort of autocross school.  I will see about signing

up for it next time they hold it.

in your case you are driving up to your potential, face it you are just

slow, now it might not be your driving so don't take it to hard, it

could be that you just have a $hitty car, lots of people are trying to

weesel into the club buy saying they are not winning but that's not how

it works, you got to do good and then not do good then you are an

automatic I SUCK CLUB member then you can partake in all of the club

No I have never been to an autocross. I have thought about it, but not

with my FV class car. I have a 2005 Lotus Elise that I have thought of

taking out to an event, but I have been hesitant. I love that car like

others love their children (perhaps more if you have bad kids), if

something happened to it I would be devastated. I know in the spring

the SCCA runs some sort of autocross school. I will see about signing

up for it next time they hold it.

matthew , have you ever ran with the autocross bunch, it's lots of fun

and you will not wreck your car, it's not over speeds that you would

normaly run on the highway, but it is quite chalineing, it is a lot

cheaper and you can run almost every weekend with columbus, indy, south

bend, and ft.wayne all so close, when i first started i found it to be

tougher than the first time i played golf, we really have a good bunch

of nutty and dedicated people involved in the sport at all different

That's actually not completely true.  Some cone marks cannot be washed off, but

showing up to an event with a clean car with a good coat of wax helps to

prevent the permanent cone marks.  Besides, hitting cones is not a smart thing

to do in the first place (I don't really want to use the word stupid).



Matt, as it was pointed out before, Formula Vs make fine autocross cars.  In

fact, if you want to, you can even leave your bicycle tires at home and run

real tires.  There's an Australian Pursuit taking place this Sunday, which is

not a traditional autocross, but still a fun event.  It also gives you the

opportunity to work on your cornering technique, since there are practically

only two turns that make up the course, and you navigate each one twice per

run.  The more you win, the more often you get to run them.  Both are 180

degree sweepers, which is great for practicing breaking, steady state

cornering, and slowly accelerating out of the turn.  It is also a great way to

evaluate the handling and the balance of the car.



The Elise is a great autocross car, but the FV can win, too.  In fact, Larry

Metz won at least a couple of Australian Pursuits in his FV.  How do I know?  I

ran against him in the big finale, and my Porsche 944 at that time could not

quite match his FV.  That would be great if you showed up and won the event.  I

can already hear our whiners complain again: "Waaaah, waaaah, I got beaten by a

car on bicycle tires!  That's not fair!"

No I have never been to an autocross. I have thought about it, but not

with my FV class car. I have a 2005 Lotus Elise that I have thought of

taking out to an event, but I have been hesitant. I love that car like

others love their children (perhaps more if you have bad kids), if

something happened to it I would be devastated. I know in the spring

the SCCA runs some sort of autocross school. I will see about signing

up for it next time they hold it.

matthew , have you ever ran with the autocross bunch, it's lots of fun

and you will not wreck your car, it's not over speeds that you would

normaly run on the highway, but it is quite chalineing, it is a lot

cheaper and you can run almost every weekend with columbus, indy, south

bend, and ft.wayne all so close, when i first started i found it to be

tougher than the first time i played golf, we really have a good bunch

of nutty and dedicated people involved in the sport at all different

levels, they have an aussie persuit at 16st on the 12th july and then we

are back up to grissom on Aug 2 and then the divisional the next weekend

at grissom, it's about the cheapest form of motorsport that you can get

into and it's not all horsepower, it's more about torque and car

handeling , with the driving being by far the most imporant part, come

on out maybe we can make you an honorary I SUCK CLUB member for your

first day

Matthew, club racers are elgible for the I SUCK CLUB but it looks like

in your case you are driving up to your potential, face it you are just

slow, now it might not be your driving so don't take it to hard, it

could be that you just have a $hitty car, lots of people are trying to

it works, you got to do good and then not do good then you are an

automatic I SUCK CLUB member then you can partake in all of the club

we just finished up with the I SUCK CLUB board meeting , present were me, Fagan,

Megan, Lucky, and Cuddles, we have decided that stupid people are alowed in the

club, but stupid idiots cannot be members untill they stand up at the driviers

meeting and tell everyone why they are stupid idiots, this will help all mankind

by reducing the creation of more stupid idiots, then they will be allowed back

Now about you...what do you think your potential exactly is? You think you have

potential just because BMW paid you $1000 once for one week of autocrossing?

That's stupid. You think just because BMW paid you $1000 once for one week of

autocrossing you can now just run a few big events per year and win those

instead of running weekend after weekend at the local events around Indiana

with us lowlifes? That's stupid. Being too cheap to buy tires and running

events to polish your autocrossing skills so that you can actually win again

and suck less? I call that stupid, too.



I've heard the CEO of the I SUCK CLUB just got fired for having no potential and

being stupid squared. I think that club got dissolved.



By the way, your I SUCK CLUB thread on SCCAFORUMS would probably have been

locked by know if this discussion took place over there. This does not happen

at YahooGroups. I guess the worst that can happen to you is the group owner

kicking you out. That could be a new club, I guess.
