I would like to hear your opinions on the future of the club,
particularly in light of the expected significant rate increase at
our current location.

I believe that it is time to at least look into moving on to a new
venue, and to restart active operations of the Indianapolis Fencing
Club. It is time to get serious about growing fencing in
Indianapolis. We have been stagnant for way too long. I also
believe that the best way to do this is with an active fencing club,
run by and for the members. This will require active participation
by the some of the experienced membership for coaching, teaching, and
training, and a least some level of commitment/volunteering by an
active subset of the membership in other areas.

If the club membership supports starting down this path, I will get
things organized and begin the process. Please give me your opinions
and suggestions on how best to establish an active, growing, and fun
fencing club. If you have suggestions on location, activities,
marketing, promotion, etc., please pass them on.
