RE: Indianapolis Fencing Club Fencing Tues and Thurs

Congratulations to Nicholas Hanahan!!  He fenced in the Y14 and Y12 Men's Epee divisions at NAC F in Portland.  The tournament was completed yesterday.

Nicholas finished 34th out of 80 in the Y14 division.
He also finished 3rd out of 53 in the Y12 division.  He lost to the eventual winner of the division in the semifinal match.

Subject: Indianapolis Fencing Club Fencing Tues and Thurs

Any thoughts on fencing this week?

Anyone up for dry fencing at a park? Or something?

Temperature forecast: 50's Tues, 70's Thurs. Sunset is 8:37 and 8:39
respectively.

Sunday night (4/27) Bladepoint email:
"There will be NO ELECTRIC FENCING at least this week. In fact there
will be no strips available to non-program fencers. Program fencers,
i.e. the sabre and epee fencers that do the Tuesday, Thursday and
Saturday programs will still have practice and still be doing
programmed activities in a slightly altered format.
Recreational/club/foil fencers will have not space to fence this week.
The change is due to our move not being completed. Fencers that want
to be assured that fencing strips and/or electric apparatuses are
available should show up Tuesday evening and assist in finishing the
move while the program fencers are doing their activities."

I am for it if we can find a spot. I could also grab one or two of our boxes and the reels, since they run on batteries. Anyone know of a good park?...
