The Indian cricket team is loosing its fame and charm day by day, why is it so?
Are these cricket players out of the cricketing touch or have they forgotten the
art of playing cricket. India is the one country which is the most cricket crazy
country in the world, but why is that we spectators are loosing interest in the
game. The main drawback according to me is that these players, who once come
into the international team, forget cricket and start earning from many
different sources mainly advertisements.

Today almost the whole team is busy advertising the products and is busy working
on the sale of their name. If this same free time would have been utilized by
the captain to increase the bowling overrate of the team then why would he be
banned from the Indian cricket side. The bowlers instead of practicing and
correcting their bowling line stand in the line of fashion shows and designers.
Then why shouldn’t they be banned or thrown out of the team.

According to me the ship fails to sail only if the captain of the ship is
irresponsible, but if the captain is confident and responsible enough to even
the strongest storm cannot sink it. So this means that we should change the
captain of the ship, i.e. we need a replacement for the Indian captain. When
Gangly is thrown out of the team saying that the captain is responsible for the
slow overrate of the team, the match referee is absolutely right because it is
he who has to control the team.

There is a saying “Always see some one who is above you then you will have a
scope of improvement”. This also means that the Indian captain should compare
himself and his team with Rickey Pointing and his team with the Australian
cricket team. Why is the Indian cricket team loosing its charm is it only
because of the captain or are there others who are responsible too?

When this question arises then it would be an injustice with the captain to go
alone, but when the old goodies are thrown out and the young chaps come in, I
think the team on the whole would succeed. But now you may think who those old
goodies are:

1) Sourav Ganguly
2) Sachin Tendulkar
3) Anil Kumble

These three players should move out making way for the new blood to come in, and
show their talent. And I think there is lot no end for talent in India, throwing
out these three can also provide us with better options.

In this regard I urge the Indian Selectors to kindly select the tem according to
the situation India needs and not pushing all the useless junk that may spoil
the atmosphere of the cricket. And coming to the point of ban for six matches
this is absolutely fair because till these people are not forced to sit out they
will never be able to judge the performance and play in a better way.
