In India, a small child may not be knowing what is bad or what is
good but he knows the cricket terms like, "What is a Bat, Ball, 4
(chokka), 6(chakka) and most importantly the Game of cricket!".
Coming to the reasons that made me write this message. 15 players,
after very hard practice, top result in domestic & international
cricket, much dedication to the game, match winner and most
importantly physically fit and mentally strong are selected by board
to represent 1.1 billion people of India. Did i said,"1.1
Billion?"...."Wow! what a big big market!" as big B's of the
corporate houses say and sees the best opportunity to target their
products & services by... yep! Crickers. If your hard-work pays you,
whats wrong with it. Every player is endorsed with many big
corporates who puts their services & products at risk(to sensitive
1.1 billion indian market) by making these cricketers as Brand
Managers. So, both the corporates and the players has to play their
part and perform to achieve success. Did I said, "Perform?" ... Now,
we Indians are very sensitive and sentimental to whom we love so much
and wish them good luck whole-heartedly to do well. Its this high and
deep feeling that gets either a big appreciation on winning or big
lsit of woos & wooes on loosing a game resulting in either Unity in
diversity or Differences in unity respectively. When our country is
not performing upto the mark, we should wish them the best of luck,
boosting their morale, giving them the feeling,"We are with you
Friend!". It will motivate them to perform the best and play
positively and will give 101% result for the country and will love
all the media bringing cricket to our home. So, we will love to read
newspapers, watch tv ads and love to see the same news again and
again. Did I said,"Media?" .... Media plays a very important role. It
reflects the views ranging from 1 person to 1.1 billion people To
whole world. This reflects all the W's & H's of us to the world. Big
media houses are requested that when our friends, our team needs us,
instead of putting them into pressure by showing articles, small
movies, all putting chilli & pepper into it for sour taste, why dont
we more concentrate in boosting them, positively supporting them
making them remeber the good days they have in their history book.
Please dont bingle & jingle on who should be in our who should be
out? OR where should one bat? We are not that dedicated, hard-work,
or easily said, equavelent to any player, selector or coach
capability to judge otherwise indian team would have been of 1.1
people team. So please Media,"ITS HOT! BUT DONT SHOUT", ultimately we
have cry. V R No.1 & V 'll B!
Thanx
