200 that have internet access in VA doesn't mean you

Fred Lane, who was going to play for the Colts this year after a stellar carrer
with the Panthers, was shot to death today in his Charlotte home.  Say a prayer
tonight for Lane and his family

Baltimore's situation is totally different from
Cleveland's. Baltimore was without a team for 13 years.
Indianapolis stole the Colts......the Browns showed up at
Balt. doorstep. Baltimore could have "stolen" the
Saints in '87 but decided the correct thing to do was
what until expansion. After we got screwed, it was
everyman for himself. Did you think Baltimore would put
all that effort into expansion and then just give up.
Cleveland just happened to take the bait. Anyone who likes
the "real" Colts has already hung up his
horseshoes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree that neither of those players want
anything to ever do with the Indianapolis Colts. However,
being a Colts fan since 1970, I am a fan of both the
Baltimore Colts and Indianapolis Colts. I wish they had
never moved, however, they did and there is nothing to
cry about now. I am a Colts fan and always will be,
but this does not mean that I am not a Unitas or
Jones fan because both of these players contributed
GREATLY to the successes their teams had. I know there
are people still upset over the team moving in the
middle of the night but there is nothing we as fans can
do about that NOW!! Quit whining and enjoy your
Ravens....how do the fans of Cleveland feel???

Don't ever try to associate Bert Jones or Johnny
Unitas with the Indy Colts. The fact is, neither one of
them can stand having any association with the Dolts.
The Dolts are a semi-pro outfit and will never have
any long-term success. NFL insiders still shudder at
hearing the Indy & Colts names together. The Colts died
in '83.

Having been a proud fan of the Colts since 19970,
I am vvery happy to announce that this years team
is among the best ever. Not since the days of Bert
Jones has this team created such a fan following from
out of the local Indianapolis area. I am encountering
fans all over when I travel. Keep up the good work.

I went to the ESPN site, but could not locate the
voting site. Is it over? Or is it in a different web
page? There is no question who the rookie of the year
should be anyway.....it is JAMES by a long shot.

It would be a tough choice to make for MVP. But
James will get at least one more 100yd game to make him
the best rookie ever. So I would give him my vote.
Besides I like the way he runs, north and south. But it
would be great if they tied also. Tough call isn,t it.

Go to CNN SI online and vote for Manning or James as the league MVP for this
year.  It is a close race for the top spot.

I have been a Colts fan for 31 years. And since
the mid 1970s it has been lean and hard to take. The
one Cinderella year when we were a catch away from
the SuperBowl...well, that was truely dreaming then.
Sure we were good, but not as good as now.
Unitas.....Jones.....Manning.....Passing the torch!!! Go Colts!

I have been a Colts fan since 1970 and have stuck with them through thick and
thin.

I agree that any of the 5 teams can win the division but for our Colts to win,
we must have a better defense than has been shown so far this pre season.
