The MSEDA Annual Meeting is coming up and it is going to be a good
one!

January 13-14, 2007

MSEDA is proud to present our featured speaker this year, Jane
Savoie. Jane is one of the most popular and effective speakers in
dressage today. With her positive approach and her vast experience,
her well-known books and videos have inspired thousands. Jane has
been a member of the US Equestrian Team and has competed for the US
in Canada, Holland, Belgium, France and Germany. Long-listed by the
USET several times, Jane has won nine Horse of the Year Awards and
Three National Freestyle Championships. While dressage is Jane's
primary focus, Jane is equally at home working with eventers. She
has coached several of the US Equestrian Team riders in preparation
for the 2000 Olympics and has been a positive influence for event
riders all across the country through her clinics, videos books and
motivational speaking engagements.

Jane will kick off the weekend. Starting at 9:00 am Saturday, a
morning session will cover sports psychology/mental training. The
participants will be given fun and simple tools to help them deal
with their mental monsters such as fear, anxiety, discouragement,
insecurity. This program is high energy so come prepared to play
full out! The afternoon session will focus on specific training
issues. Jane will show you how to use the training scale not only as
a formula for training your horse, but also as a guideline for
problem solving. Her specialty is demystifying the "vague,
confusing, but oh so important concept - the half halt!"

NEW THIS YEAR! The coveted show entries and door prizes that are so
generously donated by our organizers and MSEDA members will be given
during the day on Saturday. This is a departure from past years, so
be sure not to miss your chance to be a winner!
Space for Saturday will be limited so get your registration in
early! Application deadline is January 5th.
