Subject: [Impact Martial Arts Dojo] Re: rules and conduct
I have at times taught both my sisters, but they don't train with me
anymore (maybe I was to hard on them). My wife is subject to my
harshest criticisms and is pushed the hardest, I expect a lot from
her and as she never seems to fail to deliver I keep on pushing her.
She took her 3rd Dan Black Belt last week, a staggering 8 hour
grading and she out preformed everyone. As I don't grade my brown
and black bets she had to do it all of her own back (as did the
others from our club that graded).
Our club is well known for doing a lot of sparring and been a little
rough, everyone gets their first lesson free so if they don't like
the way we do things they have lost nothing.
Anyway thanks for telling us about your training and I hope your
students that are trying to get into Pride make it (not the easiest
of tasks). I have a contact for someone in the US that is having
problems finding places to train and would like to pass on your e-
mail address if that's ok with you!!!
Keep kicking Trev
