Re: Kick trainer & leg stretcher

I remember using something similar back in the earl 90's but the
problem with stretching aids is that overenthusiastic individuals
tend to over do it and the chances of injury are higher as the bodies
safety reactions can be prevented.

This is probably a less dangerous stretching aid than most but I
still believe that stretching the body in natural ways is safer and
more beneficial. If you are wanting to improve your kicks just
stretching your legs is not going to do it as your back muscles play
a big part in your kicking and then you should also work on the rest
of your body as its all connected into the movement of kicking.

To explain a little better!!!

When you walk down the street how much of your body do you use?
A lot more than just your legs and hips, people tend to use their
arms and shoulder to help with the momentum. Try walking without
using anything other than your legs and you will see what I am
talking about (I would do this in privet as you look very stupid) as
the motion is totally un-natural and you will also find it very hard
to use your legs like you normally would when walking.

Keep kicking Trev.
