The purpose of this bulletin board group is to facilitate the circulation of information concerning mountain bicycling advocacy in Illinois and surrounding states. Through discussion of recreational access issues, responsible riding, ethics, public and private land management, trails development and maintenance, government actions relevant to mountain bicycling, news articles, upcoming events, activities of the International Mountain Bicycling Association and the Illinois Mountain Bicyclists' Coalition and their affiliated organizations, members of this group take an active role as leaders in furthering the recreational opportunities of mountain bicyclists.
