What ever happened to the ITPA circuit in S.E.
IL??? I remember as a youngster that the ITPA
sanctioned some pulls at the smaller county fairs. Namely
the Wabash & Edwards co. fairs. Why isn't this still
going on? Was it the fair board who put the stops to
it??? The last time any type of pull was held at the
Wabash co. fair was a garden tractor pull. It was pretty
cool, but it wasn't the same as what I grew up watching
at the fair. Don't get me wrong, garden tractors are
pretty cool... I'm wanting to pull a Cub Cadet myself as
soon as money permits. I guess I'm just a little
disappointed because I have to drive to Evansville and
Boonvile, IN to see a good pull!!! (ATPA Grand American...
best show this side of the farm machinery show in
Louisville, KY!!!) I guess I just miss you guys at my
hometown 4-H fair. I didn't even go this year... their
idea of a grandstand even was a horse show and a
substandard demo derby. <br> If someone can get hold of the
fair board (or whoever), and talk them into the
resurrection of the ITPA pulls at these 2 fairs, myself and
many other fans of tractor pulling would be forever
