I've found that Americans have this blind
devotion to the concept of free speech without really
having a real understanding of what it really means; to
the American, it means anything goes--I can say
whatever I want because it is my God given right to do so,
evn if what I say is completely idiotic and offensive
and disgusting. And see what this belief has done to
the American nation; in the eyes of the world,
Americans are regarded as among the lowest, most vile
people. Has it ever occurred to you that even if you have
the right to express your opinion, that some thought
and intelligence has to be involved in the process
that leads up to the utterance of this opinion?

Traitors. This is USA, right to free speach, even
if we have idiots that voice their backwards opion.
My grandday fought in the pacific, and I don't have
a problem with any asian. Hell, I feel in love and
married one.(still married) I do not think the idiot
should have his message deleted. It is a reminder that
their are people like that still out there.

Does anyone know whether Ichiro has found a
permanent residence in the Seattle area yet? I know he was
living in a condo very close to Safeco Field...but I
heard his wife Yumiko is suppose to be looking for a
house. Maybe he will move to Mercer Island like Kazu.

If someone offered you $252 million, wouldn't you
take it? All Alex did was take what he was
offered.<br><br>Because of the economic troubles in baseball, there might
be a strike in a couple seasons, according to
Dodgers general manager, Kevin Malone.<br><br>You gotta
hand it to Scott Boras. He can get you money if you
higher him as your agent. He gave Kevin Brown the
highest contract in baseball two years ago ($105
million). Then two years later, he gave A-Rod the highest
contract in sports ($252 million), doubling the previous
high (which was $126 million for Kevin Garnett in the
NBA).

actually it was 250 million for 10 years . i live
in japan and they are crazy over ichiro overhere. i
went out and got a few of his cards and he is an
awesome hitter. in 8 years he has a .349 avg. and in a
103 games he had 141 hits....thats what his card
says...its all in japanese so im not sure? but it is also
against japanese piching so take it for what it is worth.

But how can the Mariners replace Alex's production? Ichiro is not a power hitter
nor is Olerud. The only power will come from Edgar. So who to get?
