The Texas State Open used to be at Eric's Billiards all the time. Until a
few years ago when they stopped having it and G Cue Billiards took it
over. But, they can only call it the Texas Open, I think. I don't think
they can use the phrase Texas State Open. Anyhow, I don't know all the
logistics as to why or how, but Eric's Billiards is starting the Texas
State Open again next weekend (21-24). Lots of people enjoyed the
tournament at Eric's over G Cue since the venue is bigger and many people
believe the tables are better. I had heard thru the grapevine that G Cue
wasn't having theirs this year, but I guess thats not true since I
recently received an email about it. So, G Cue will have the Texas Open
during its normal Labor Day weekend time frame, but it will only be a
Saturday and Sunday tournament this year instead of Thur-Sun.
The Texas State Open at Eric's is the same weekend as the Hunter in
Denver, so I know a few women will be in Denver instead.

the 30 year-old one at G Cue sometime around Labor day as usual. Which is
correct?

This tournament is posted on azbilliards. Check it out. This is the same
weekend as the Texas Open, so, if you don't plan on making the Texas Open, come
on out and join us.
