| Ladies, Just wanted to keep everyone updated about the tournament at Magoo's in Tulsa July 26-27, which is also the Oklahoma Women's State 9-Ball Championship. Magoo's Two was closed and 11 nine-foot tables were removed from Magoo's and replaced with 7' Diamond Smart Tables that were at Magoo's Two. The 11 nine-foot tables are in storage and this leaves only 9 nine-foot tables in Magoo's for our event this year. Therefore, the Player's Meeting has been moved to 9am to accommodate the reduced number of tables for the tournament. Next year, there will be a new pool room with 18 Diamond nine-foot tables! Please spread the word that the players meeting is moved to 9am. Play begins right after the player's meeting. Also, a State Championship is the only way to have a qualifier for the US Open, and this will be the first time the OB Cues Tour (or Hunter Classics Tour) has ever had a qualifier for the Women's US Open! In addition, because this is a State Championship, pros are eligible to play, but are not eligible for the qualifier. If you have any questions, please let us know. Melinda |
