Even though I have not played much the last two years (I hope that will change this coming year) I will put my $.02 in.

 

I totally agree that the Tour should not have to pay for the Qualifiers, nor do I believe the house should have to either. I feel that the Qualifier participants should be underwriting the cost.   A  number of Tour participants will never play in a Qualifier for one reason or another and as one of that group I would certainly rather see more Tour stops (of course near Dallas would be great!!).  I believe it will be easier to put together more tour stops if the houses are not hit so hard monetarily.  I think Tara was right on in saying that with more stops we will be spreading the word about pool and bring more players to our Tour and to the sport in general.
