It's pity to say but our beloved Hristo Stoichkov has never worn a
shirt of CSKA with the sign of the Sintofarm company on it. In 1988
my favourite club CSKA Sofia was financially supported by the funds
of the Bulgarian army and had no sponsor's name on the official club
jersey. Sintofarm became a sponsor of CSKA in 1991. At that time
Hristo was already a player of Barcelona. I have on a video tape the
semifinal match between CSKA and Barca 1:2, played in Sofia in the
spring of 1989 and i can prove CSKA had no sponsor at that match.
Btw, anyone interested in that historic match can obtain a VHS copy,
