Definitely a discounted price. Not sure the Braves would eat any of
it though. He'd get about 11M next season and roughly the same if the
option is picked up for '09.

The dude is a stud. He hits for power and average. He is worth every
penny if you could get 150+ games out of him. As it is though...

2004 = 137
2005 = 109
2006 = 110
2007= 134
2008 = A Mystery

better defensively, but with those k's he has, he won't be worth what borass
wants to charge.

I heard on radio or tv that Jones has gained weight this season and
might be dealing with a lingering injury. He'll need to get back to
his usual size to keep that defensive side to his game. Definitely
agree in Jones over Dunn. A.Jones K's would probably be worth it so
long as he brings his average back up to his .260+ range and continues
to drive in runs. Dunn had a pretty darn good season but I think
there are several downsides to his game.

There are rumors that Glavine is trying to get back with the Braves.
Also it looks like Cox will remain for a couple more seasons. So I
don't know that they will be in rebuild mode.

Who would yall rather have in the outfield -

1.) Andruw Jones
2.) Adam Dunn
3.) Torii Hunter
4.) Luke Scott
5.) Josh Anderson
6.) Willy Taveras

I would love to see Chipper (LarryBoy) here! I would take him over Wiggy anyday! What a disappointment. The Jones boys could have the HR Pump going here @ MMP....

My big concern (as someone mentioned earlier) is that A. Jones agent is Scott Boras. Atlanta turned down talks with A. Jones according to an article I read,...
