It is a cool thought and I, for one, had no idea that Bruntlett was our
emergency catcher which is really cool to know. I've always enjoyed him as
a player and think he is invaluable for us and a smart and patient player.
That catcher bit just adds more respect to Superman.

Hmm. Well, I understand that he has been an emergency backup catcher in the past but the issue might have been that in the case of extremely dire emergency....

This is a great signing for the Astros, and I am a Cubs fan. Loretta can fill in everywhere. I would expect to see him play some at 3B if the other two falter....

He played 3rd for us at one time. My assumption is that they'll try and keep Burke primarily in center and use Loretta as they would have Burke in backing up...
