Bob,

Thanks for the kind words. Your name rings a bell, have I mentioned you in a
report?

Good luck with the meeting, hope you get plenty of attendees.

Just been thinking about how we can stimulate some group involvement, and
wondered about a table top rally. Been wondering about how we can use the
same map though! (I mean, we have people both sides of the pond here!)

Would there be an interest in running a table top rally for the fun of it?
If So I'm happy to put some stages together for the first one....I feel a
championship coming on!

Thoughts everyone?

Eric

Hi all,

Yes, it has gone bit quiet Eric. If it wasn't for you there would be no
activity. Keep up the good work.

Here is some news, though. This Wednesday evening sees the inaugural
meeting of the new Leicestershire Foxes area centre of the Historic Rally
Car Register.

The meeting will be at the Bell Inn, Frisby-on-the-Wreake, near Melton
Mowbray on Wed 23/10/02 at 8pm. Bring your classic or just yourself.

There will plenty opportunity to chat and get to know people, and to help
plan a programme for the next 12 months.

Bob Shearer

PS for those of you outside the UK, the Wreake is a small river and I don't
know what a Frisby is... and in this case it is not a flying object. :-)

Melton Mowbray is the home of the best pork pies in England.
