Hi All

I too competed on the Leukaemia - in my, oh so fragile, Lotus
Elite. It survived. I thought that the gravel tests were in pretty
good condition, particularly as it was clear that they hadn't been
regraded since the Wyedean Rally(?).

I don't think that the Leukaemia organisers have ever made any
secret of the tests-biased nature of their event. It's all the
better for it in my view - and far more enjoyable than spending much
of a day cruising around at 20mph on Regularities. A guaranteed
Zzzzzzzzzzzz (for me).

Thankfully the HRCR Championships comprise a wide variety of events,
their common denominator is the friendly bunch of competitors that
one meets on each of them. Don't dimiss the Championship because
you didn't enjoy one specific event! The next round (Ross Traders)
will be very different in nature - far fewer tests and, almost
certainly, no gravel roads. If in doubt, call the organisers -
they'll tell you what to expect.
