Actually the distance from 'Blighty' to Newfoundland is less than from many
points in Canada [Vancouver BC to St John's is 6500 kms] Air travel from London
is 5 hours [from Vancouver about 8 hours]

I think you will find shipping costs not as bad as you would think.

So maybe I should bring my MkII Cooper S over for the '04 event?
However, it's a bloody long way across the pond to Newfoundland from
good old Blighty! ;)
