There was a classic Mini (or at least what I call a Mini) entered but they had
terminal engine problems on the second or third day. I found this car
interesting as I noticed that it was badged as an Austin Seven. This was
apparently a 1959 model from New Zealand which had recently been imported into
Canada. Having grown up in Canada I don't remember seeing Austin Sevens at all.
By the way I had a 1954 Austin A40 before I was old enough to legally drive.
